Prophetic Horsehair Worm called Marijuana

WORM

As one called to intercede for my region, I noticed an alarming trend in my community. A reality that sends chills down my spine and gives me nightmares.

I recently visited a CVS store, and the lines were wrapped around the aisles. There was a very strong odor of marijuana in the air And thee people were dressed in dark, tattered clothing. I felt out of place because I had dressed for church.

The reason this bothered me so much was that there was a slew of house fires over the weekend. A 7-year-old child died in one of these house fires. Several other people died in other fires.

There was also another incident where a child was sent to school without a hat or glove in freezing weather.

There is an Epidemic

Thousands upon thousands of children are living in these marijuana-infused environments. The horsehair worm manipulates chemicals in the body to control its host’s mind. Similarly,, the marijuana drug is creating a playground for demons.

Our warfare is not with flesh and blood but with demonic principalities and powers according to Ephesians 6:11-12.

When I was a chaplain at the Wayne County Jail, the inmates would share stories. They often described seeing dark, shadowy figures in the rooms of the drug houses. These were the places where they sold crack.

The social recreational use of marijuana is fueling poverty, deviant sexuality, and an inability to grow mentally.

Lesson from the Horsehair Worm called: The Casinos

I remember Detroit before the casinos came in. I saw the devastation that followed. Whole neighborhoods were destroyed as people spent their income at the casinos. I watched as once beautiful homes fell into disrepair. On some blocks, only one house was left standing in the midst of vacant lots

Each of the three casinos was pulling in 100 million dollars a quarter.

According to Google, 2024 revenue was 1.29 billion annually.

Quarterly MGM 149 million, Motor City 97.8 million and Hollywood Casino 71.8 million.

This is not counting the Michigan State Lottery. That is darkness on a whole another level.

We observed the impact on the community’s physical structure. Wait for the spiritual and human cost.

Young men high on marijuana are impregnating women on an industrial scale.

The reality is that, per household, there are five or more baby daddies. Each child has a different father. Talking about confusion. 

I know every body isn’t like that. However, it’s the human cost that is dragging down the community into a deep black hole. It’s the potential cost to children being raised in those environments.
