According to Strong’s Concordance of the Bible, the Greek translation to English is “pharmakeia, #G5331, from G5332; medication (pharmacy) that is (by extension) magic (literal or figurative):-sorcery. witchcraft. KJV Usage: sorcery (2x), witchcraft (1x).” From THE BIBLE with STRONGS

The title of this post is taken from Revelation 18:23. It is almost hid in the last two verses Revelation chapter 18; that describes the judgement of the great whore. It reads in full

“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” Revelation 18:23-24 (KJV)

In Revelation 18, we see the great whore working through the merchants, the great men of the earth, using her sorceries to deceive the nations. The merchants are the channels through which the great whore disseminates her message. Strong’s Concordance defines sorcery as medication.

I recently went to CVS to pick up medication for a family member. I was amazed at the how busy they were and their selves were overflowing with medicine.

The medication described in Revelation 18:23 is a different kind of medication. It is a drug that deceives people and its end purpose is to murder its victims.

My opinion is, this medication is spread through “commercial messages” designed to deceive people. The message inflames, inspires hate, greed and lust. The commercial may inform people with good information. The commercials twist people into dependence on “systems” as their source of provision.

Those producing fentanyl are simply saying, we are supplying a demand which allows us to earn a living.They say, somebody else down the supply line is adding other ingredients to their product. Yet their product, in a 12 month period murdered 100,000 people from fentanyl overdose.

What about all the other lies that strip people of their independence? ies strip people of their freedom:

“These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the midst of darkness is reserved for ever. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.” 2 Peter 2:17-19

Pollution of the world

The apostle Peter says you escape the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, verse 20. You don’t have to drink the cool aide. God promises to supply your ALL your need according to his riches in glory, Philippians 3:19. The problem is, however, we are ignorant of God’s system. We have build broken systems that can not produce!

“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ: grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escape the corruption that is the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:1-4 (KJV)

What are you building with? The wisdom of this world? Or the Word of God?

Jeremiah 2:12-14

“Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth profit. Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, that can hold no water.”

When you make money you’re god and the thing by which you make daily decisions; you are heading for a major crash!

It took me years to learn these biblically based promises: according to Colossians 1:12-13, we have received an inheritance ( a portion) with the saints in light. We have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of his son. These promises may seem to be old fashion or as some say, out of date. Nevertheless, they are working in my life. They are producing fruit!
