“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. And cast him into a bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” Revelation 20:1-3
Great loss of wealth
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4
“For in one hour great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, and cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is. like into this great city!” Revelation 18:17-
“That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased.”
How did Satan become the god of this world?
Adam forfeited his leadership position to Satan. When Adam failed in the Garden of Eden, the Serpent gained SEED, Genesis 3:15. This seed gave him the right to sow his image and plans into the hearts of people.
Jesus said, “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this be cast out.” John 12:31
Jesus said, the prince of this world comes and he has nothing in me, John 14:30
Jesus said, “… the prince of this world is judged.” John 16:11
Federal Headship
Adam was the federal head of the human race. He represented creation before God in the Garden of Eden. He functioned in the role of guardian, that’s why God said to Adam to dress and keep the garden.
The Antichrist
Satan will unite the nations under the leadership of one man, the antichrist!
Revelation 13:2, “… the dragon gave him him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
Revelation 13:7-8 “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindred, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
The base and / or platform on which everything was created was/is a worship system. Adam offered the sacrifice of fruit as a sacrifice of worship. When he sinned, he lost his position as the head of the human race. Satan became the spiritual head of the human race.
There is only One System in the created order, a worship system. As we head into eternity, it will still be a worship system. According to Revelation 22:1, “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, processing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”
The Lamb of God, the sacrifice, will be seated on the throne for all eternity. Even as we speak, he is seated in the highest place of authority, on the right hand of God.
“… and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.” Revelation 22:2b-3
After Adam sinned, the sacrifice was changed from a fruit based sacrifice to the blood of an animal sacrifice. This was the case in the matter of Cain and Abel. Cain persisted in the old order by offering a fruit sacrifice. Abel offered a blood sacrifice. God rejected Cain’s sacrifice and accepted Abel’s sacrifice.
According to Hebrews 11:4, the Bible says, Abel offered a more excellent sacrifice than his brother Cain by which he obtained witness that he was righteous.
This holds true today, John the Baptist said when he saw Jesus, ‘Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world’, John 1:29.
The MYSTERY of Babylon
In Revelation chapter 17, the apostle John saw a woman sitting on the back of the beast in Revelation chapter 17. She had a title written on her forehead, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” she was drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus (Revelation 17:6). This system thrives off of human blood sacrifice. This system is behind all blood shed, the loss of human life rather unintentional or deliberate.
“… for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” Revelation 18:23-24
Satan built a system of worship system using Adam’s authority. He works through people to advance his agenda. He uses their God-given dominion to put his plans into operation. He is the puppet master behind governments, religions, and the economic systems of this world.
The only thing on earth that stands in Satan’s way is the people of God who are dedicated to God’s purposes. Believers who refuse to bow their knees to him.
Jesus exposes Satan’s agenda
Jesus, speaking to religious leaders of his day: “Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lust of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:42-44
in Matthew 4:8-9, Satan took Jesus to a high mountain and showed him ALL the kingdoms of this world in their splendrous glory and said, “I will give you all these things, if you fall down and worship me.”
“And the devil taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world of the world in a moment of time, and the devil said unto him, all this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.” Luke 4:5-7
Come Out
In Revelation 18, the apostle John heard a great voice saying, ‘out of her my people lest you be partakers of her sin and receive her plagues’. Many people are heavily invested in that system. Pension plans, stock market investments, savings plans…
Reward her Double
Every human life that was taken, all the blood that was shed in wars, all the people who were murdered, and all loss of life will be accounted for in this judgment. From the first murder of Abel down to the last person, whose blood is shed.
The judgment is described as doubled. Babylon judgment is coming in one day. Just like in the days of Noah when a mighty flood destroyed all life on earth. Death, mourning, famine, plagues, and utter destruction by fire will be released on Babylon.
Revelation 18:9-11
“And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for NO man buyeth their merchandise any more.”
