The demonic prince who rules in the area of commerce is Mammon.
Our warfare is not with flesh and blood but spiritual entities called principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12)
An angelic messenger who was sent to Daniel with the answers to his prayers was hindered by a demonic prince until the archangel Michael came to deliver him. The angel was then freed to deliver his message to Daniel. (Daniel 10:10-14)
Jesus disarmed principalities and powers, triumphing over them through his cross! (Colossians 2:15)
Mammon Worship
Jesus said, “You can not worship God and Mammon” Matthew 6:24
In our time, we see a dismantling of the financial system as the United States gets deeper and deeper in debt. Banks are closing branches and moving to do more business online.
There is coming great devastation to the world economic system, first because God is judging the system. See Revelation 18:17-24.
The Whore of Babylon which is the governmental rule of the kingdom of darkness is being judge. As well as the Queen of Heaven, the worship elements of the kingdom of darkness. Great wealth is going to vanish.
James 5:1-5, declares, their gold and silver are cankered and shall eat their flesh like fire.
We are in this season of time when people are being brought into bondage through financial debt through financial instruments like mortgages, credit cards, personal loans, pension plans, insurance plans, etc…
The debt monsters are eating cash reserves, whether it is paying overly inflated prices for a cup of coffee or a gallon of gas. A candy that once costs 50 cents now costs $3.95.
The answer
God’s economic system. All the gold and silver belong to him. The cattle on a thousand hills, every fruit tree belongs to him. The earth and the fullness of it belong to him. His ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
The answer, however simple, is in seed. Seed is pro-vision. Seed is provision, God’s vision.
