Why Satan hates prosperity!

Satan hates prosperity because God created prosperity as part of his original blueprint for creation.

God (Genesis 2:1-3) gave the benefits of the Sabbath blessings to the human family. How can you really rest if your needs are not met?

According to Hebrew 4:1-10, the promise of the Sabbath rest is still available?

Satan hates prosperity because it lift people up out of poverty. Proverbs 14:20, ‘The poor are hated by their own neighbors.’ But the blessings of the Lord makes rich, Proverbs 10:22

Satan hates prosperity because it advances the gospel of Jesus Christ. In Nehemiah 13:10, the priest and the worshippers left the temple to work the field because their needs were being neglected. Once Nehemiah set in place faithful stewards; resources were collected to meet the needs of those God commissioned to serve in the temple.

Jesus said, ‘There is no man who has left father, mother, wife, children, or lands for his sake and the gospel, but they shall receive 100 fold now in this time’

God made a covenant with Abraham, which includes blessing him until all nations of the earth are blessed!

God’s vision is way bigger than what we can imagine!

God created prosperity, and he gave it to the human family! John 1:3, “ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM, AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANY THING MADE THAT WAS MADE.”

Revelation 4:11, “Thou art worthy, O LORD, to receive glory and honour and power: For thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

The idea of prosperity was sown in the garden of Eden, Genesis 2:9

“And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight…”

God made man’s physical body with five receptors: sight, hearing, smelling, taste, and touch. Through these receptors, we perceive and experience the glory of God.

Habakkuk 2:14 prophecy, ‘the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God as the waters cover the seas.’

But what fills the earth at this moment is the knowledge of the glory of Satan! We see wars, death, murder, theft, destruction…

Believers in Christ

God blessed the Children of Israel in relationship to covenant promises. They were a prototype of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

Jesus is the second Adam, together with the body of Christ, who is the bride of Christ (Revelation 19:7-11), who will finish Adam’s original assignment.

We are the light of the world! We are God’s witnesses! The blessings of the Lord make rich Proverbs 10:22 & 13:22

Dominion transcends national borders

God’s kingdom rules over all. His dominion is an everlasting dominion!

God has put all things under the feet of Jesus, Ephesians 1:22

I have noticed that Satan uses culture to undermine the effectiveness of the gospel! People bring their culture with all of its failures, limitations, and superstition into the kingdom of God.

Pharisees in Jesus’ day, limited the blessings of God, by adding their traditions to the Word of God. Jesus gave a perfect example in Mark, chapter 7:9-12, where the Pharisees said that a person who gives a gift to the temple instead of honoring his parents has satisfied the law, that they are free from doing anything for their parents.

Jesus said the Pharisees, “Making the word of God none effect through your traditions, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.” Mark 7:13 (KJV)

Trusting in riches disqualifies from entrance into the kingdom of God

Jesus said, “… How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God”

The disciples were astonished at Jesus’ words. Jesus clarified his statement. He said,

“… Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter onto the kingdom of God!” Mark 10:24

People have more faith in the government and their jobs than they do in God to supply their needs.

The kingdom of God is a working relationship. It is one of continuous trust and growth.

Hebrews 12:28, “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”

Final words

Dont forget the 100-fold returns

The Sabbath Rest, which is the Blessing of God bestowed in Genesis chapters 1-2.

The blessing was given as a gift. God gave it to help Adam fulfill his assignment. The blessing has been restored and will fulfill its original assignment in the Millennial reign of Christ.

Ephesians 1:3, We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Jesus Christ.

God committed the blessing to Adam, Noah, and his family and then to Abraham. Jesus, the perfect sacrifice, have received the promise of life from the Father and pour it out on us, Acts chapter 2!

We have received redemption through his blood, Ephesians 1:7

God’s redemption has made payment for our sins and has redeemed us to our original purpose.
