Man’s System, as opposed to God’s created order.
God is the architect, original designer, the creator of all things. He created all things for his pleasure and out the goodness of his heart shares it with man.
Adam lost this blessedness. JESUS regains it and gives it back.
The Blessedness
On the seventh day of creation, after he finished the work of creation, he aside the seventh day as a day of celebration where he planned for his creation to enjoy the bounty of the works of his hands.
He reintroduced this concept into the ten commandment, stating the seventh day is holy and no work could be done in that day.
Israel got into much trouble because money was driving their ambition. They worked the seventh day.
“But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and nit bear a burden, eveb entering in at the gate of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.” JEREMIAH 17:27 (KJV)
He kept telling them how creation was designed. God and Israel were in a covenant. Israel was his covenant partner.
God has extended a New Testament, or what is called a New Covenant, based on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
The promise
“Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poorof this world rich in faith, and reigns of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?” James 2:5
GOD Chose
Yes. GOD CHOSE JUST AS HE DID IN GENESIS 2:3, to share the bounty of the works of his hands with man.
He REINTRODUCED the concept of the blessed work IN HEBREWS 4:6; there must be some that will enter into this blessed rest.
The scriptures declare labor to enter into this blessed rest. In other words, perfect the system in your life. Seek it, ask for it, believe it, act on it.
There is a scripture that says that when God bought Israel out of Egypt, not one feeble person was among them.
