Kings and priests

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10 (KJV)

We have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and made to become kings and priest unto God.

The Original Blueprint

Genesis 2:15 (KJV)

“And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden to dress it and to keep it.”

Adam’s original assignment, that which he was created for, to dress the garden and to keep garden, man has been redeemed back to it.

In the office of the king, Adam was to guard the garden. He was to keep the way open to the tree of life.

In the office of priest, Adam was to dress the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He was to arrange the fruit in a presentational form. In the time of visitation, God and Adam met at this tree.

After the fall

After  Adam’s treason, God set placeholders in the garden. The place of the priesthood, he set Cherubims. The place of king, one who was suppose to guard, he placed a flaming sword which turned in every direction.

Genesis 3:24 (KJV)

“So he drove out the man; and placed at the east of the garden of Eden  Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”

The garden of Eden has been reopened

Hebrews 8:1-2 (KJV)

“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, which the LORD pitched, and not man.”

Jesus occupies two positions in the true sanctuary, which God pitched and not man.

God pitched the true sanctuary in Genesis 2:8 (kJV)

“And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.”

Jesus is seated on the right hand of God, in a position of authority and power. Jesus is the king of kings, the Lord of lords.

They shall reign on the earth

Jesus has redeemed us to our God through his sacrifice! We shall reign on the earth. It was always God’s will that we reign on earth. That was God’s will in the first chapter of the bible in Genesis 1:26-28 and in the last chapter of the Bible, in Revelation 22:5, “…and they shall reign forever and ever.”

God never took away dominion. Satan deceived man out of his dominion. Satan got in between God and Adam until he was cast out of heaven in Revelation 12, where it is declared that

“I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” Revelation 12:10 (KJV)

The battle

The battle is not in heaven! It is not on Earth. It is a battle of the mind in our thought life. Satan has already been defeated. His primary weapon was using our sin against us. Satan accused us before God day and night. Jesus disarmed Sazan by nailing our sin to his cross.

Colossians 2:13-15 (KJV)

“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

The Power of Sacrifice

Christians have never understood how powerful Jesus’s sacrifice was and is before God’s throne! In Revelation 5, all heaven breaks into worship.  In

Revelation 22:1 (KJV)

“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”

If more and more of my precious brothers and sisters in Mexico, the United States, South America, and around the world got a revelation of the sacrifice, Satan would quickly lose power in their lands.

I pray for the day when we will see believers in Christ pleading Jesus’ blood over their land and kicking out the forces of darkness.

I believe because God said it.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.” Revelation 12:11 (KJV)
