Behold the Lamb of God

Adam had two responsibilities as far as the Garden of Eden is concerned: dress and keep it.

God planted two types of trees in the Garden of Eden, utility and service.

Tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil

Adam was given the special privilege of dressing the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was a service tree. He was instructed not to eat from that tree because the fruit causes death.

Adam was chosen out of all creation to worship God this way, by offering a sacrifice of worship, and minister to him through this service.

What we failed to understand about the sacrifice

It is the way, means, and method God CHOSE to be served

How God views sacrifice. JOHN 3:16

God so love the world that he gave his only begotten Son to be the sacrifice

John testified of him, “Behold the Lamb of God”

After Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, God raised him and seated him at his own right.

Revelation 22:1-2, the prophetic image of the meaning of the sacrifice is revealed as: the Lamb of God seated on the throne of God.

That’s how much sacrifice meant to God

He seated the sacrifice, the Lamb, on his throne

“I have said, you are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” Psalms 82:6

Jesus quoted this scripture in John 10:33-38, when the Pharisees tried to kill him for declaring himself to be the Son of God.

The Pharisees accused him of making himself God. They accused him of blasphemy.

Was Jesus correct?

Absolutely, yes. He was not only declared to be the Son of God, but he is also the Word of God. He created all things, and without him was nothing made.

As many as received him, to them God gave the power to become sons of God, John 1:12-13

The most amazing thing Jesus said about being a child of God:

“If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scriptures cannot be broken.” John 10:35

What is the power of Satan?

The apostle Paul, speaking to King Agrippa in Acts 26:18, said, Jesus appeared to him, commissioning him to go preach the gospel to the Gentiles, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to the light, from the power of Satan to God, that they might receive…”

So what is the power of Satan? It is the power to deceive. He deceived the first man and woman.

Satan deceives the whole world according to Revelation 12:9.

According to Colossians 1:13, it is the power of darkness.

According to the Bible, Satan is going to be loosed from his prison, and his first act is to deceive the nations, Revelation 20:7-8

Satan blinds the minds of them who do not believe! According to 2 Corinthians 4:4.

So when anyone could benefit from the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross; he deceives them from benefiting.

1.4 billion dollar lottery

At this moment, there is a lot of excitment over the possibility of winning the jackpot. People are excited about the possibility of winning 1.4 billion dollars.

Something greater than the 1.4 billion lottery presents itself to us.

In Luke 22:19, Jesus says this is my body which given to you.

1 Corinthians 11:24, Jesus says, ‘This is my body, which is broken for you.’

What is the possibility of winning the maga millions lottery? 1 in 290,472,336

What is the possibility of receiving Christ? Whosoever believes!

What are the benefits:

The gift of grace, the exceeding riches of God’s mercy and grace, which He chose to reveal to us

He forgives all your sins

He heals all your diseases, Psalms 103:2-5

John 1 says that as many as received him, God gave the power to become sons of God.

The Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus because he said he was the Son of God. They said he blasphemed because he being a man makes himself God.

This is how Jesus answered them. He quoted scriptures:

“Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scriptures cannot be broken.” John 10:34-35

Jesus was quoting from Psalms 82:6

“I have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the most High.”

Jesus said he was sent from God, commissioned, and authorized to give us God’s word (John 10:36-38)

John 1:10-12

“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

The next verse, verse 13, says this conferment of sonship is a work of God. It is not based on who you are related to! It is not based on the will of the flesh or the will of man.

What is the problem?

The problem is blindness. The mind can not receive. I can not believe it. It will not embrace. Therefore, it can not receive the benefits of the blessings of God.

If you won’t believe, you cannot receive. Many people who can be healed won’t be healed for the simple reason that they can’t get beyond the doubt. They can’t believe the possibilities. They won’t seek. They can’t go deeper because it takes faith.

To be deceived is a choice not to receive

According to 2 Corinthians 4:6-7, God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus!

Satan accused the brethren day and night before the throne of God

Justice

Satan is the accuser of the brethren, slanderer, thief, and murderer.

One thing that he excels at is accusation. He is incredibly talented at finding fault.

Recently, I have come across videos on Instagram documenting the injustices of man against man. These videos are very detailed and well-thought-out.

If you happened to belong to a race or minority group of people, you might get offended and feel as if you have been wronged, and can’t get justice.

This content creator on Instagram did an excellent job showing how the European powers divided the African continent, stripped it of its resources, and enslaved its people.

Looking at the surface of those events, one may think there is no justice for the wrongs perpetrated against one’s fellow man. But according to,

Psalms 89:14

“Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall before thy.”

Daniel 4:17 declares, The Most High rules in the kingdom of man

If history has taught anything, what you sow, you shall reap.

You don’t have to look far for judgment. During World War I, 21 million soldiers and citizens died in battle.

The total economic cost is estimated to exceed $331 billion.

Britain $21.2 billion

France $10 billion

Germany $45 billion

World War 2

70 to 85 million soldiers and citizens died in conflict.

The economic cost on the US was $323 billion dollars.

The total economic cost of World War 2 was $1.4 trillion.

What was stolen from nations through fault and deceit is insignificant compared to what was lost in war.

Satan’s judgment: a thousand years in prison!

One thousand years chained in a black, bottomless pit. Twirling in darkness. After this, Satan must be loosed again before his final designation in the lake of fire for eternity, Revelation 20:1-3; 10.
