His rest shall be glorious

“And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.” Isaiah 11:10 (KJV)

Jesus came preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God. In John 4:14, he announced the gift of God is living water.

God gave this gift of life as an act of love! It’s called grace, the goodness of God!

Life is a witness. 1 John 1:1-2, the Apostle John called Jesus, the word of life. He said they saw it with their eyes and handled it with their hands. That life was manifested before them. He said they are witnesses!

Tge Apostle John also said, ‘If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater which is Life.

What is revelation?

Revelation is the God-given insight into the promises of his word. The Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians Church and all believers,

‘May God grant you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, that the eyes of your understanding being enlighted my know the hope of his calling.’

God unfolds his grand vision

“But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.” 1 John 2:20

“The anointing you have received of him  shall teach you all things, 1 John 2:27

We have the witness in ourselves, 1 John 5:10

“But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by revelation of Jesus Christ.” Galatians 1:11-12

There are twenty-seven books in the New Testament. The Apostle Paul wrote half of it. Fourteen books are attributed to him, and he received it all by revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ.

What if the Apostle Paul taught what everyone else was teaching; we wouldn’t have knowledge of the hidden revelation God had planned for our times. The Apostle Paul was called to be a minister to the Gentiles. Jesus called Apostle Paul to this ministry. He taught him what to preach!

The Spirit of God was “working mightily” in the Apostle Paul to preach these “mysteries.”

Ephesians 3:2-5 (KJV)

“If ye have heard of dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.”

In Galatians 1:15, the Apostle Paul said God separated him from his mother’s womb and called him to this grace.

What Grace?

God fulfilled covenant with Abraham to make him a father of nations through the ministry of the Apostle Paul. God was bringing the nations into covenant with himself.

What about grace?

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quicken us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us together, and made us sit togather in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: THAT in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Jesus Christ. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:4-8

What ages?

Ages in regards to time periods. For example, the 1960s through the seventies is a time period. The 1970s through 1980 was an age period. During those decades, God sent revivals and ministries to perfect the church. He added the church daily, such as should be saved. He also equipped the church to be an effective witness against the works of darkness.

During the 1950s, a great healing revival broke out in the United States. There were also other recorded moves of God around the earth.

The New Creation

If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, 2nd Corinthians 5:17

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

“We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

We need to define what “works God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

We need to go no further than the original blueprint as recorded in Genesis chapters 1-2.

God redeemed man back to his original purpose. In Jesus is the new creation

The Garden of Eden has been restored. The heavenly place is the Garden of Eden, the sanctuary God planted. Jesus is presently in this place serving as a faithful high priest, Hebrews chapter 8!

Believers are called children of the light. Light exposes darkness.

Knowledge versus wisdom

We are living on earth in a time when people have a lot of head knowledge but no wisdom. They know the grass needs to be cut, and they know how to cut it, but the grass never gets cut.

Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge and get an expected result!

People know the word of God. But they don’t know how to deliberately put it into operation and reap a harvest.

In Mark 4:26, Jesus taught us how the kingdoms of God operate in the world’s reality. Jesus compared the kingdom of God to a farmer sowing seeds in a field and patiently waiting for a harvest.

What does wisdom have to do with the kingdom of God?

So much of Christianity, the religious part, divorce power from the faith or they limit only to speaking tongues.

The law of God states,

“Whatsoever a man sows that shall he reap” See Galatians 6:7

If you sow apple seed, you are going to reap apples.

Galatians 6:6-10, put it this way,

Don’t deceive yourself. If you sow to the Spitit, you will reap LIFE. If you sow to the flesh, you will reap CORRUPTION. God can not be mocked.

The real problem here is one of definition. People really don’t have a revelation of life.

God breathed the breath of LIFE into Adam’s nostrils, and he became a living soul. LIFE transformed dust into a living soul capable of having a relationship with a super advanced life form called God.

After Adam’s trespassed by eating the forbidden fruit, God banished Adam from the Garden of Eden because Adam had access to the tree of life and could eat fruit from the tree of life and live forever, Genesis 3:22.

Jesus, being the seed of the woman, See Genesis 3:15, being the second Adam was fulfilled in Revelation 12:5-10 & verse 17.

God had to recreate Adam’s seed before he could allow them to eat fruit from the tree of life! This is what it means to be born again!

Therefore, life is supernatural infinite power capable of creating, healing, teaching, growing, and executing judgment.

God chose to give us the gift of life as a witness to the reality of Jesus Christ as his messenger, his witness.

1 John 5:10, “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: FOR THIS IS THE WITNESS OF GOD WHICH  HE TESTIFIED OF HIS SON. HE THAT BELIEVETH ON THE SON OF GOD HATH THE WITNESS IN HIMSELF: he that believeth not hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.”

(What is the witness?)

“And this is the RECORD, that God hath given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”

God is the source of life. Genesis 2:10, a river flowed from Eden into the garden to give life to it.

Revelation 22:1-4, the water of life flows out of the throne of God to water the paradise of God, to give life to it.

We have the witness in ourselves. If we have Jesus, we have access to life.

How do you partake of life

Revelation 22:17, the Spirit and the Bride say, COME, ‘Whosoever hears let him come to the water of life and freely drink ‘

You can drink the water of life freely by opening your mouth and boldly claiming the promises of God.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and he who loves it will eat the fruit of it, Proverbs 18:21.

(This concept of freely drinking and / or eating is a tie-in to Genesis 2:16, where God told Adam he could freely eat from any tree in the Garden of Eden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.)

The Apostle Paul put it this way in Roman 10:8,  the word is near you. It is in your heart and in your mouth. If you believe with your heart and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, you shall be saved. For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For God is rich unto all who call upon his name!

The Apostle Paul was referencing from Deuteronomy 30:11-14, where Moses told the children of Israel the commandment was not hidden, it is not in heaven, neither beyond the sea, neither was it responsibility of others to get for them. Moses said,

“But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou might do it.” Deuteronomy 30:14 (KJV)

The Apostle Paul called it the word of faith, Romans 10:8

The woman who had the issue of blood (See Mark 5:25-34, also recorded in Luke 8:43-48)

She spent 12 years and much money seeking a medical cure. However, her medical condition grew worse. She heard Jesus was in a crowd. Many people were pressing in on him to touch him. But this woman said within herself, ‘If I can touch his clothes, I shall be healed.’ When she touched Jesus’ garment, she felt that within her body, she was healed of her plague. JESUS felt power leave him and said, ‘Who touched me.’ The woman, knowing what was done, bowed before him and acknowledged her actions. Jesus said, ‘Daughter thy faith hath made thee whole.’

The power source that healed the woman was “LIFE.”

The Apostle John, in 1 John 1:1-5, acknowledged that Jesus is the Word of Life! He said, ‘They were eye witnesses!’

JOHN SAID, THE LIFE, which was with the Father, was manifested to them

What is life?

Life is the Spirit of God

Life is the gift of God

Life creates

Life is a witness

Life flows from God

Life heals

Life delivers

Life gives revelation

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12

God’s gift of grace and life are meant to transform your life, to give you glorious rest!

Grace and peace!

Price Of Gold Should Be Sounding Alarm Bells At The Federal Reserve

The world’s system of prosperity is tied to things that fade, such as gold, silver, and real estate.

Gold cannot please the One who gives the gift of life!

Jesus said, “Lay not up for yourselves  treasures upon earth  where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves breakthrough and steal” Matthew 6:19

He said, ‘But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.” Matthew 6:20

Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:21

It is important to know where your heart is! Do you worship money? Do you serve money? Preoccupied with money?

Jesus said, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

1 Timothy 6:10

“For the love of money is the root to all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierce themselves through with many sorrows.”

Money is not evil. The love of money is the root to all evil.

If the root of all evil is love of money, then love must be the seed that produces the fruit!

So what you worship outside of God becomes the seed that produces the fruit of much sorrows!

The person who worships money is like Adam and Eve, focusing on the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil to the neglect of all the other fruit trees of the Garden of Eden.

Once Adam ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he lost his clothing, for he saw that he was naked and he hid among the trees of the Garden of Eden.

Adam hid among the trees of the garden. God had already unvested tremendous wealth in the Garden of Eden!

He got distracted!

Let us appreciate and find value in what God has already given us. God has given the gift of life. He put the tree of life back in front of us.

For Apostle Paul said,

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12

Grace and peace

I will give you rest

Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

This is a profound promise that is connected to God’s covenant promise in Genesis 2:1-3, the Sabbath rest.

God finished his works on the seventh day of creation. He invited Adam and his family to benefit from the labor of the works of his hands. Adam lost it. Jesus restored it. God has restored that provision to us. God made provision for your healing and deliverance before the foundation of the world!

People are heavy laden with debt, sickness, and disease. They are yoked together to the broken systems of man that can’t really deliver them. They are in a fight against time. They are in battle for their lives.

The promise of entering into Jesus’ rest is supernatural and miraculous, but you don’t get their in one day.

The corruption in the world

We fight war against corruption that is in the world through lust.

It’s the hidden battle that wars against us, taking away our freedom and our choices.

It is the lust for more profits. It is hidden in fees, rent increases, back office deals, stripping your wealth, taking away your choices.

The battle that we fight every day is one against big corporations, corporate greed, and political agendas. The curse is working through sickness, disease, lack, and poverty.

The battle is spiritual. We are fighting against unseen spiritual forces. The Apostle Paul said our battle is not with flesh and blood. The battle is a spiritual battle. In Ephesians 6:12, he said,

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against  principalities against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

The battle isn’t against those providing a service because the service providers are ponds in a chess game. They are working for a paycheck.

Satan uses money to tempt and drive people down one-way streets called dead ends.

1 Timothy 6:10

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and PIERCED THEMSELVES THROUGH WITH MANY SORROWS.”

BUT GOD

2 Peter 1:2-4

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you  through the knowledge of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

(What is grace? What is peace? What is the definition of Savior? Who is our Savior?)

“According as his DIVINE POWER hath given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain to LIFE and godliness, THROUGH the knowledge of him that HATH CALLED us to glory and virtue.

(What are these promises based on? Your ability? The doctor’s ability? The lawyer’s ability? What did he call you to?)

WHEREBY ARE GIVEN UNTO US EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES: that… by… these… ye…. might… be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having… escape… the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

God has made a way of escape!

Sickness is working in your body. Big pharma makes a pill that can temporarily deal with the symptoms. Big pharma charges $500.00 per pill.

Each day, your strength is falling. YOU ARE not getting better but worse!

Believers are failing in the battle because they are tired of fighting. They have been disillusioned by the lies of big pharma or their medical plans, and / or their doctors have not been able to offer them hope against their diagnosis.

The system is cursed! The curse is working on the earth.

But the promise is,

I WILL GIVE YOU REST

Psalms 91 says,

Because he hath set his love upon me, (Psalms 91:14)

I will deliver him (Psalms 91:14)

I will set him upon high because he knows my name (Psalms 91:14)

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him (Psalms 91:15)

I will be with him in trouble (Psalms 91:15)

I will deliver him and honour him (Psalms 91:15)

I will satisfy him with long life and show him my salvation (Psalms 91:16)

The problem is that we don’t know how to enter into God’s rest

People hit a wall when it comes to receiving from God, and the name of the wall is called PRIDE…

Jeremiah 9:23-24, God said, ‘wise man don’t glory in your wisdom. Mighty man, don’t glory in your might. Rich man, don’t glory in your riches.

God said, ‘If you glory in anything, glory in that you understand and know me, that I exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. He said, ‘for in these things, I delight!’

It is easy to believe in injustice, wrong, that rich have it all, that you can’t catch a break.

People are unwilling to do the advanced work of faith. They tend to exercise faith in a man’s system.

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. HIS breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.” Psalms 146:3-4 (KJV)

HAPPY is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God.” Psalms 146:5

God takes pleasure in,

“He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. THE LORD TAKETH PLEASURE IN THEM THAT FEAR HIM, IN THOSE THAT HOPE IN HIS MERCY.” Psalms 147:10-11

Jesus said,

TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU, AND LEARNOF…. ME, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and YE SHALL FIND UNTO YOUR SOUL. For my YOKE IS EASY, AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT.”

Hebrews 4:1-4, the same promise made to the children of Israel to enter God’s rest has been made to us.

“LET US therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short if it. FOR UNTO US was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: BUT the word preached did not profit them, not being MIXED WITH FAITH in them that heard it. FOR WE WHICH HAVE BELIEVE DO ENTER INTO HIS…”

Entering Rest is a daily decision

There is a process to entering into God’s rest. It’s in your daily routine.

Hebrews 4:9-12, LET US labor to enter into that rest…

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, PIERCING even to dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of SOUL and SPIRIT, and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents if the heart.”

The word of God is sharper than the surgeon’s knife. The word of God is living, alive and it is powerful. It is piercing

WHO ARE YOKED TO?

Are you yoked to a system? Are you yoked to medical plans, social security, employer, banks, credit cards, loans? Has sickness and disease attached itself to you?

Definition of yoke, ” a wooden crosspiece that is fasten to two animals and attached to a plow or cart that they are to pull.”

According to Isaiah 10:27, God said, the yoke and burden shall be destroyed because of the anointing

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulders, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27

One way that I practiced connecting to the promises is by taking Communion.

I build into my consciousness, that Christ hath redeemed me from the curse being made a curse for me.

Jesus took the curse for me. He paid in full for my redemption, Galatians 3:13

Jesus was pireced in his hands and feet on the cross. A Roman soldier pireced him in the side with a spear. His head was pierced with a crown of thorns. He was condemned for me.

Death, maybe trying to pirece you through, but the promise says (John 6:53-57)

“Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no LIFE in you. WHOSOEVER eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal LIFE; and I will raise him up at the last day.

FOR my FLESH is MEAT indeed, and my BLOOD is drink indeed.

(Don’t dismiss the term “Eternal LIFE.” It is a description of the authority and power of God. You can see symbols of the flow of life throughout scripture, especially in Revelation 22:1-4. Jesus makes reference to Life when he describes the Father as “the living Father” because the Father is full of Life.)

He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I LIVE BY the Father: SO he that eateth meEVEN SHALL LIVE BY ME.

The life of God is called the anointing in Isaiah 10:29! It is called the gift of God in John 3:16. In John 4:10-14, it is called a well of living water springing up into eternal life.

He that hath the Son hath life, 1 John 5:12.

So I confess by faith in the Son of God that I have the gift of life, the gift of God in me now. The life of God is working in me now overthrowing sickness and disease. Life is working in me now to unravel and destroy cancer, to utterly destroy it from my body.

I confess the gift of  life over myself, that my short and long-term memory are intact. I claim the promises!

I practice the word of God daily, and I expect a harvest to come to pass in my life!

Proverbs 18:20-21

“A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. DEATH and LIFE are in POWER of the tongue: and they that LOVE IT SHALL EAT THE FRUIT THEREOF.”

Are you satisfied? Check the words of your mouth! What is coming out of your mouth? Are you speaking death? Or are you claiming life? Have you sided with your circumstances against the promises of God?

Develop fruit! The first time that you act upon the word, you will experience more doubt than faith because you are not developed in the process.

You must love the process! You must be committed to the process!

Do you have God’s vision? God’s vision is sabbath rest!

Do you understand seed time and harvest? You get what you sow!

One last word

We are living in the times of the parable of the 10 virgins, Matthew 25:1-13. This parable speaks to many issues.

The pressing issue of our day is preparation, which few people truly understand.

In the parable of the 10 virgins, if one of foolish virgins had asked me for some of my oil, I would have given it to them. If I were Jesus at the door, I would have opened the door for the late comers.

BUT I am not Jesus, AND THE POINT OF THE PARABLE IS PREPARATION.

The foolish virgins had to go to the marketplace and buy oil. They had to take time and spend time buying oil. They had to make the effort to get oil. It is a time issue! What are you doing with your time?

YOU HAVE TO GET IT FOR YOURSELF. NOBODY ELSE CAN DO YOUR PRAYING.

NOBODY CAN EXERCISE FAITH FOR YOU!

You have to have enough oil in yourself to get your breakthrough, to get your miracle,  to make it to the door.

You have to stop blowing time away, spending time on broke things, entertainment, and pursuing other people’s visions!

Jesus said, “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, his ways of doing things, and all those other things shall be added to you as well!

The Curse

Death

The curse was released the moment the covenant (contract) was broken. Death passed upon all mankind.

The moment Adam ate the forbidden fruit, death was released. God had to judge sin. The cursed was announced.  The works of Adam’s hands were cursed. The ground was cursed. The wage of sin is death.

Redemption

The word redemption or redeemed means to be saved from sin, error, or evil, gaining a possession. Gaining possession of something in exchange for a payment.

John 3:16, paraphrasing, ‘God so loved the world that he sacrificed his only begotten Son as a payment for sin that whosoever believes in him shall not be cursed but receive the gift of eternal life.’

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse being made a curse for us, Galatians 3:13

What are some of the ways Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was cursed for us?

Roman soldiers planted a crown of thorns on Jesus’ head.  Adam was crowned with glory and honor. Adam lost his crown.

The earth would produce thorns and thistles! There may be a thorn hitting you in the purse or wallet. But know today, Jesus paid for your sin in full so that the blessings of Abraham may come upon yo!

Stripping of garments – Adam lost his clothing in the fall. Adam was clothed in glory and honor.

Jesus’ hands were pierced to the cross because all the works of Adam’s hands were cursed. God had given Adam complete dominion over all the works of his hands.

Jesus’ feet were pierced – God had put all things under Adam’s feet. God restored man’s dominion over the earth.

Jesus was mocked and beaten at the whipping post, and his physical appearance was marred beyond recognition. He suffered rejection, humiliation, and premature death.

Jesus suffered spiritual death. He endured separation from God, which he suffered while still alive on the cross, signified by his cry from the cross,

‘My God, My God, Why have you forsaken me’, Matthew 27:46 (KJV)

He suffered agony, grief, and sorrows. He was falsely accused. He suffered for other people faults. He took Barabbas place on the cross, Matthew 27:15-23

Jesus became poor so you might become rich

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, they ye through his poverty might be rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9

Jesus became poor so that we might become rich through his poverty! And yet, we don’t understand how he made us rich or why he made us rich.

You have to go back to the beginning

God gave Adam the Seventh day of creation as a blessing. God sanctified the Seventh day. Sanctified simply means he set that day aside for a special purpose! He fully intended Adam to enjoy the blessings of his hands. God gave that blessing, the benefit to the family of Adam.

It’s not what we think, but what God wills. God said, ‘My ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts’

Hebrews chapter 4 tells us that the same promise made to Israel to enter into God’s Sabbath rest has been made to us. Israel failed to enter into God’s rest because of unbelief.

He that enters into God rest cease from his labors as God ceased from his labor.

The Bible says, “Labor to enter into God’s rest.” The problem with receiving the benefits of the blessings of God’s hands is we don’t want to put in the effort to receive the benefits.

I went to a shoe repair shop to buy a pair of shoe strings. I walked into the shop, and  the owner was sitting at the counter. I appreciate the owner of the business and the service he provides. I took note that he was willing to wait on money, even a $5.00 purchase. People will make all kinds of sacrifice for money, but they won’t put in the necessary time to learn about their covenant rights and privileges!

Finally, after Jesus died on the cross, he was pierced in the side; blood and water issues forth. This is the moment when, out of death, God made provision for the church!

Jesus was buried in a tomb. He was raised from the dead and seated at the right of God, expecting his enemies to be made his footstool!

I heard this message hundreds and hundreds of times. But I never connected it to God’s vision for man. I never connected that Jesus became a curse for me so that the blessings of Abraham may come upon me.

What are the blessings of Abraham? Moses gives a detailed explanation of the blessings in Deuteronomy 28:1-4

God only needed to give one blessing, the Edenic blessing, which he gave when he created man. He committed the blessing to Adam! He also committed blessing to Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to Moses, David, and to Jesus. And through Jesus Christ, we have access to that same blessing.

The blessing assignment will be fulfilled during the Millennial reign of Christ.

All of the signs of the curse showed up in Jesus! JOHN THE BAPTIST declared, Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

All of the signs of the curse showed up in Jesus, so the original blessing can be fulfilled in us!

Grace & peace!
