Heavenly Vision

You are the light of the world

It has always been God’s will for heaven to be upon the earth. He chose the garden of Eden to be the image of what earth should look like!

The Serpent gained SEED

Ever since Adam invited a third party into the fold, death has become a reality. Adam’s disobedience opened the door to Satan.

Satan gained SEED, Genesis 3:15; also see Matthew 13:37-39

God gave us a glimpse of what heaven would look like on earth, in Deuteronomy 11:18-21, He promised the children of Israel that if they kept his commandments, he would give them days of heaven upon earth, and he would multiply the days of their lives, Isaiah 2:1-5; 11:1-9

Jesus taught the LORD’S prayer, ‘thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; for yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, Matthew 6:9-13

Jesus said it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom of heaven, Luke 12:32

We have received a kingdom, Hebrews 12:28

Peter was given a vision of heaven, Matthew 17:1-8, Acts 10:9-11

John was given a vision of heaven, Revelation 4:1-2

Paul saw the heavenly vision. He described it as a light above the brightness of the noon day sun. He said Jesus sent him to the Gentiles to open their eyes, turn them from darkness to light, the power of Satan to God. They might receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them, which are sanctified by faith that is in me, Acts 26:18-19

Believers in Christ have never fully understood what the inheritance is!

The Heavenly Father made us to be partakers of the inheritance, Colossians 1:12

We have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God, Colossians 1:13

The inheritance is heaven! It is God’s rulership over the earth.

Heaven is his throne, and earth is his footstool!

“For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” 1 Corinthians 4:20 (KJV)

It is a matter of influence

The problem has been that the children of darkness have more influence over us than we do them. In all realms of influence, rather its politics, economic, social structures, media, etc… Believers are followers, not influencers.

We are confused when it comes to debt! We run to the bank for a loan versus to our Heavenly Father, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills.

God hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. All of the spiritual forces that God set in place in the beginning are freely flowing to us today, Ephesians 1:3

How do you get heaven to manifest on earth?

“And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground.” Mark 4:26 (KJV)

SEED TIME HARVEST! Work the SEED! Believe for the harvest!

Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereunto I sent it.”

The scriptures above Isaiah 55:11, that is, Isaiah 55:10, describes the seed time harvest process.

Isaiah 55:12-13 talks about the harvest of peace, the transformation of the environment!

Let your light so shine that men may see your good works and glorify your father, which is in heaven!

Don’t disassociate yourself from heaven

Some people have zero revelation or insight into heaven.

Heaven isn’t just a place we go when we die. Heaven is a reality. God intended for heaven to be on earth. That’s why he sent a river out of the City of Eden to water the garden. He divided it into four rivers that flowed into the earth, Genesis 2:10-14

Jesus taught us to pray, ‘thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’ He promised the children of Israel that he would multiply the days of their lives and give them days of heaven upon the earth, Deuteronomy 11:21

Facts

The Garden of Eden is a part of heaven because it is a part of the city of Eden, the City of God.

  • Jesus came preaching the kingdom of heaven is at hand, Matthew 4:17
  • Jesus said, “If I cast out devils with the finger of God, then the kingdom has come unto you, Luke 11:20
  • Ephesians 1:3, We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. All of the spiritual forces of heaven have been made available to you
  • It is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom, Luke 12:32
  • God has chosen the poor rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, James 2:5
  • We have received a kingdom that can not be shaken, receive grace, Hebrews 12:28
  • You have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son, Colossians 1:13

The battle is between our two ears. Heaven and earth were created to be one system. God has gathered all things in heaven and earth in Christ, Ephesians 1:10

“One God and Father of all, Who is over ALL and THROUGH ALL and in ALL.” Ephesians 4:6 (KJV)

Why is it difficult for people to receive?

Choice

Our fore-parents chose to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We became judges of good and evil. We judge good and evil based upon what we know. Usually, it doesn’t include God’s way of doing things.

God, in his goodness, has saved us from our sin and restored the tree of life.

1 John 5:11, if we believe the testimony of man, the testimony of God is greater! His testimony is life, eternal life, the gift, the fruit, the reality. He that hath the Son hath life 1 John 5:12

The breath of life is what transformed dust into a living creation. Life working in you delivers you from death into life.

The problem

The Word of God, who made everything that was made (John 1:3), was revealed to us.

“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. HE CAME UNTO HIS OWN, AND HE OWN RECEIVED HIM NOT. BUT AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM; TO THEM GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME.” John 1:10-12

Did God have any problem with revealing his glory to Israel? Did God have any problem revealing himself through Jesus?

Yet, the world did not know its creator! He came to his own, and they did not receive him. The problem is not with God simply because as the Bible declares

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and darkness comprehended it not.”

Darkness can not extinguish the light. The Devil knows he can’t stop God, but he knows he can convince people like he did Adam and Eve in the Garden. Satan lies and lies. Jesus called him a murderer and father of the lie. Darkness appeals to your senses and your emotions!

When difficulty comes, we don’t consider heaven. We make judgments on whether we have enough health insurance. Can we borrow the money from the bank.

“… this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19

Here are some suggestions

This has to be a matter of daily decisions.

-Seek first the kingdom of God

  • Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, which means believing with the heart and confessing with your month what God says in his word about you! Matthew 6:33
  • Be being! Which means to be actively engaged consistently! There is no middle ground. You are either in or out. God said in Genesis 1:3, “Let there be light.” God said in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be…”
  • Come to the well and drink living water (John 4:10). Come to the Source! The gift of God is living water (John 4:13) it satisfies every thirst! Jesus is the Bread of Life. Ephesians 5:18-19 says, ‘Be filled with the Spirit speaking, singing, playing music in your heart.’

Here is a thought: The world is full of sad and oppressive songs. How about singing a new song. Sing praises to God for all he has done for you! In Revelation 5:9, millions of the heavenly angels began to sing a new song. A new chapter of creation has been opened for us. We are redeemed by the Blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God!

EARTH CUT OFF FROM HEAVEN?

Dis-associated from heaven

What does this mean?

It means we don’t take into consideration God’s opinion, will, plan, or purpose when making decisions.

Yet, God is actively engaged in our lives.

Psalms 113:5-9 (KJV), “Who is like unto the LORD for God, who dwelleth on high, who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth! He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. He taketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children, Praise ye the LORD.”

“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.” JOHN 1:10 (KJV)

How is that possible?

“He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.” John 1:11-12 (KJV)

Is it possible that God presents himself to you and you don’t receive him, even though he gave you that right and privilege to be connected to him as his offspring?

Ephesians 4:6, “One God and Father of ALL, Who is over ALL and through ALL and in ALL.”

Adam was cut off from heaven,

“And the LORD God said, Behold the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: now lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherbims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”

Adam could have eaten fruit from the tree of life and lived forever in a fallen state.

God has restored heaven and the tree of life.

Ephesians 1:3, you have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places

John 7:38,  rivers of living water
