“We want to be like nations”

“Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; that we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.”

1 Samuel 8:19-21

Give us a king to fight our battles

Give us a King to judge us

Give us a man to go before us

We want to be like the nations

The Promise Land was a prototype of the Garden of Eden. Israel was in a covenant confirmed by a sworn oath. God said, I swear by myself that in blessing I will bless you!

God said to Samuel, ‘Give the people a king, they have not rejected you, they have rejected me that I should not reign over them.’ The elders were frustrated with the corruption of Samuel’ sons and wanted a different kind of leadership. The elders of Israel saw the leadership of other nations and desired to be like them. However, terms of their covenant was:

“Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priest, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.” Exodus 19:4-6

Israel was and is a model of the faithfulness and goodness of God. He created a nation of people from one man, Abraham, to reveal to the world his glorious plan of redemption. They were created and set up for this purpose.

Stuck in the details

They got stuck in the details! Samuel sons took bribes, perverted judgement and put the pursue of profit above righteousness. This one decision sent the nation into a pit of great darkness of which no one could perceived at the time. But thank God for the historical records we have in the Old Testament. We also get stuck in the details of life. We are looking to man’s systems to heal us or lead us out of our troubles.

Created in the image and likeness of God

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

God personally came to earth to demonstrate what we were created to be and do!

In the beginnings was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

“And of his fulness have we all received, and grace for grace.” John 1:16

The Revelation of LIFE

“That which was from the beginning, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;).” 1 John 1:1-2

The apostles and disciples of Jesus saw “Life”, the river of life working in their midst. They saw the miracles, healings, provisions. They saw him walk on water, and feed multitudes. He paid taxes from money taken from a fish’s mouth. The miracles, the wisdom, knowledge are examples of the substance we call LIFE. This is the Breath of Life, which transformed man, who initially was formed from the dust of the ground, into an intelligent life form.

In Mark 5:25-34, there was a lady who was healed of a twelve year blood disease. She spent all her money on doctors trying to find a cure. But when she saw Jesus, she said within herself, “if I can touch the hem of his garment I shall be made whole.” The concept of wholeness is fullness! Nothing lacking, nothing broken! She came behind Jesus and touched the hem of his garment. She felt in her body that she was healed of that disease. Jesus felt the power (life) leave him and he said, ”Who touched my clothes?” There were many people touching him. The woman came forth and acknowledged her healing. Jesus said, “Daughter, THY FAITH had made you whole.” The Life in him responded to the woman’s faith. Jesus said,

“And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the LIGHT shineth in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:5

The river of life flowed out of Jesus into the woman healing and making her whole of her plague.

Life is the Gift of God

Jesus said, to the woman at the well, “… If thou knowest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.” John 4:10

Jesus compared natural human systems, in this case water well, to God’s source of living water. Jesus said, “Whosoever drink of this water shall thirst again. But the water I shall give him shall be in him a well of living water springing up into everlasting life!”

But the water He gives is a well of living water springing up into everlasting life! (John 4:14)

Life is substance! It is tangible! The apostle John saw it, heard the message.

Come to the water and drink

How do you drink from the river? Keep coming to the Word of God and feed and feed upon the Word of God. The light will overtake your darkness and you will realize what you have a right to. You will realize that in Christ, God has given you an inheritance, the promise! God says, I swear by myself that in blessing I will bless you!

The power is in believing, acting and doing

Jesus said, “What and if ye shall SEE the Son of man ascend up where he was before? IT IS THE SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profit nothing: THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, and THEY ARE LIFE.” John 6:63

It is the Spirit that gives LIFE as you believe, receive and act on the Word of God!

It’s Free

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the waters of life freely” Revelation 22:17

Notice the offer: Come and take of the waters freely! The fruit of the garden was always offered on the basis of a free gift:

“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat.” Genesis 2:16

Jesus said,

“Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath the Father sealed.”

Many people are laboring under man’s heavy yoke. Medicare plans that DON’T fully cover you! Hospital administrators who send you to hospice if you don’t recover in their time period. Social security system that restricts your abilities based on how much money to get every month! $500.00 for a bottle of medicine! You are being needled and pressured into a hard place by medical bills. Charged per pill, per ounce of medicine! $5000 per night for a hospital stay!

When Jesus healed the woman who had the issue of blood, he didn’t send her a bill for his services the next day. He blessed her and said, be whole of thy plague, go in peace. That’s because the garden of Eden had a build in power source. The river of God flowed into the garden to water the garden. God supplied every one of your needs when he rested on the seventh day of creation.

Revelation 22:1 reveals the source of the river! It comes out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. The river is a pure source, all mighty all powerful, all sustaining!

Again, There is a Holy Spirit inspired prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21, that says May Christ dwell in your hearts by faith so that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. How can these things be? He is able TO DO exceeding abundantly ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKS IN US

Jeremiah 2:13

“For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.”

There is a daily battle for the hearts and minds of people! Revelation 18:23, the whore of Babylon deceived the nations by sorceries.” Lots of people are smoking the devil’s weed! Come to the water and drink!

“Up, Make us gods to go before us”

Exodus 32:1-2

Photo by Suzy Hazelwood on Pexels.com

“And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gather themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.”

Aaron told the people to break off their golden ear rings, the ear rings in their wives, sons and daughters’ ears. Aaron fashioned the gold into a golden calf. Aaron build an altar to the golden calf upon which they offered burned sacrifices and they worshipped it. Aaron declared a feast and caused the people to strip naked and they danced before at the foot of the golden calf.

Aaron declared:

“These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.”

This same scenario plays to the same tune down from the generations. People seek an alternative system to meet their needs. They made the same decision in 1 Samuel chapter 8. They asked Samuel to appoint them a king to go before them, to fight their battles, and to judge them.

Israel got tired of waiting on Moses and they decided to make a substitute for God. They gave credit for their deliverance to the work of their hands. They build an altar, offered burnt offerings and offerings of peace to the golden calf. Aaron declared a in feast celebration to their new found gods. The Bible said, they sat down to eat and rose up to play. They stripped off their clothes and dance into celebration of progress (Exodus 32:25).

The golden calf fashioned by the hands of Aaron has followed them around for generations, See 1 Kings 12:28. And if you can accept this, the same golden calf sits near Wall Street in the symbol of a Brass Bull. The Brass Bull, “It symbolizes Wall Street and the Financial District.” It also represent “optimism and prosperity.” People rub his testicles for good Luck.

God said,

“For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” Jeremiah 2:13

What are the two evils:

  1. Forsaken God, the fountain of living waters
  2. Investing in a broken system that can not contain value

Adam and Eve chose the tree of the knowledge of good and evil over the tree of life. They looked at the first lie spoken to a human being, which the serpent weaved for them and to them was granted death in all of its glory!

Mammon

People have made money their god. They celebrate it, worship it, sacrifice family for it, swear by it. The love of money is the root to all evil…You can not serve God and mammon…How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

The promises of Social Security, Med-care and Medicaid, loans, schemes to get wealth, daily barrage our ears with promise of prosperity. Jesus clearly says don’t store treasures on earth where moth and rust corrode and thieves breakthrough and steal. He said, store your treasures in heaven.

Man can’t fight your battles,

Your battles are spiritual in nature. We are in a warfare against spiritual forces. Jesus said, ‘Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.‘ People are stuck in the details of this love-hate relationship with God and money and they are unable to access life.

Man can’t lead you in this battle. God has put the source on the inside of you!

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and done all to stand.” Ephesians 6:10-13

Prototype

Photo by Josh Sorenson on Pexels.com

Think of the Garden of Eden as a model of a future reality. What is important is that the garden as it was constructed worked perfectly. There was nothing wrong with the design or the structure itself. Hebrews 8:2-6 says the tabernacle of Moses was a type and shadow of the pattern of the tabernacle in heaven which the Lord pitched and not man. I was little confused about this tabernacle which the Lord pitched and not man until I understood, when God planted the garden in Genesis 2:8-9, it was the sanctuary that was being talked about. So the Garden of Eden is a prototype!

The definition of prototype is, “a first, typical, or preliminary model of something, especially a machine, from which other forms are developed or copied.” Source: Google Definitions

“A prototype is a test or original, model of a product or technology from which improvements, upgrades or fundamental changes can be made.” Source: Google Definitions

The garden of Eden, as revealed in Genesis chapter 2:8-14, is a prototype of the paradise of God as revealed in Revelation 22:1-6. if you compare the garden of Eden and the paradise of God, you have a similar setup in relationship to the trees and the river. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was the tree where the fruit was offered as a sacrifice. In the paradise of God, you have the tree of life and the Lamb of God. The Lamb of God is a perfect sacrifice. The Lamb of God slain before the foundation of the world, Ephesians 4:1-4, Revelation 13:8,

According to 1 Peter 1:19-20, we were redeemed, “But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifested in these times for you.”

The City of Eden was a prototype

The City of Eden as revealed in Genesis 2:10 is a prototype of the New Jerusalem as revealed in Revelation 21:1-27.

In Revelation 3:12, Jesus made reference to the City of God that is going to be reveal in its in its future glory,

“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.” Revelation 3:12

Partnership

God always work out of partnership. If you look the setup of the New Jerusalem God, Revelation 21, there twelve gates to the city which are named after the tribes of Israel. The city has twelve foundations which are named after the apostles of the Lamb. This heavenly construction project was always meant to be a shared project between God and man. God supplied the material and man supplied the labor.

The materials for the project

You will see streets of gold and walls encrusted with precious stones. You can see the true purpose of gold and precious gems. Gold was never created to be worshipped. It was meant to be construction materials! For example, in Genesis 2, one of the rivers that flowed out of the garden of Eden into earth was called Pison, and it was a source of gold and precious gems. Genesis 2:11-12

“The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land Havilah, where there is gold; and the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and onyx stone.”

If Adam had finished his assignment, the city of Eden would have moved to the earth. Adam’s assignment was always meant to be a partnership between God and man. God was the architect and Adam was the general contractor. All of the trees in the garden were the source codes, a massive computer system from which Adam was able to gain access to knowledge and wisdom he needed to carry out his assignment. Adam was set up to be the richest man ever because the wealth of the nations would have been at his disposal.

Adam failed in his assignment God had to work around his failure. Israel becomes a prototype of the garden of Eden.

Israel becomes a prototype of the Garden of Eden

Israel is a prototype of the Garden of Eden. Moses was given a vision and in this vision he was given a pattern of things that already existed. This scriptures below, is speaking in reference to Jesus present day ministry as a priest in the temple of God. Jesus is operating in the place of Adam:

“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens. A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched and not man. For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. For if were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priest that offer gifts according to the law: who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.” Hebrews 8:1-5

(When did God pitch the true tabernacle and not man? In Genesis 2:8-14, when he planted a garden eastward in Eden where the whole system was set up. In Revelation 22:1 the system is fully revealed! The river comes out of the throne of God and of the Lamb). The river is the source of unlimited unmatched power and it comes out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

And it was always designed to be your source of power, yesterday, today and forever! If you really think about it, the whole journey from the moment Adam ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil until the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was about getting the river restored. The Bible seems to the revelation two trees and It probably will be the story of two trees for eternity. You will look into the eyes of God and see the awesome love of his sacrifice. We will forever see the price he paid for our redemption.

Solomon’s Temple, prototype

Solomon’s temple is a prototype of the garden of Eden

-Solomon was a type of Adam.

-King David had prepared all the material for the construction of the temple of God, 1 Chronicles 29:2

-King David gave God all the credit for providing the material for the construction of the temple, 1 Chronicles 29:16.

-Provision is the original intent of creation, .

-A large labor force was employed to build the temple

-Tons of gold was used in the construction of the temple.

-Solomon was granted extraordinary wisdom to lead the people into fulfilling God’s will.

-Solomon offers the blood sacrifice, 1 Kings 8:5

-God moves into the temple

Christ is a prototype

-He is the Second Adam, 1 Corinthians 15:22 & 44-58,

-He is the Lamb of God, John 1:29 & 36

-His body is the temple, John 2:19

-He makes a new covenant, Matthew 26:26-29

-He gives them their assignment, Matthew 28:18-20

-The river is restored- power, John 7:37-39 & Acts 1:8 fulfilled in Acts 2:1-4

–The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

-Twelve apostles of the Lamb, Revelation 21:14

-The Wars of the Lamb, Revelation 19:11

-The Millennial Reign of the Lamb, Revelation chapter 20

-The New Jerusalem move to a new earth, Revelation chapter 21

“And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” Revelation 21:22

Summary

You are a type of Christ,

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of Christ, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he justified, them he also glorified.” Romans 8:29-30

The system is designed by God to work for you. Christ has redeemed us to our original purpose. Prosperity is designed into the system. Provision is designed into the system. God gave Adam trees and seed on earth for meat; the trees of the garden were created for beauty and utility. In other words the trees were created to reproduce beauty, knowledge and wisdom. They were the source of his power!

“And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. AND OUT THE GROUND MADE HE TO GROW EVERY TREE THAT IS PLEASANT TO THE SIGHT, AND GOOD FOR FOOD; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

The Blessing: Don’t get Stuck in the Details

Photo by Ian Turnell on Pexels.com

The vision of God is straightforward as revealed in Genesis chapters 1-3. God Blessed them and said be ‘fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue and have over everything that flies, swims, crawls or creeps upon the earth. Have dominion over everything that has life in it!

Reigning on Earth

It was always God’s will for man to reign on and over earth. He is passionate about that. He is still passionate about it. He was passion about it at the Last Supper. In Luke 12:50, Jesus said,

“And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” (Jesus is speaking of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb)

“But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how am I straitened till it be accomplished.”

“For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and the grace of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17

“… for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: AND WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH.” Revelation 5:9-10.

“And there shall be no night there; and need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 22:5

The System was created to produce the Blessing

Photo by Diego Madrigal on Pexels.com

God designed the system of Eden to produce an end result. The garden of Eden was designed to empower man to reign over the earth. The river of God flowed from the city of Eden into the garden of Eden into the earth. The garden of Eden was a pathway of power the earth.

Israel as a prototype of the garden of Eden. There was a rock that God used to give the people water in the wilderness. In Ezekiel 47:1-12, there is a prophetic image of a river coming out of the temple. In John 4:10-14. Jesus likens the gift of God to a well of living waters springing up in living waters and in John 7:37-39, Jesus promised rivers of living to those who believe on him. Revelation 22:1 shows a river of living waters flowing out of the drone of God and of the Lamb.

Restoration

The purpose of Jesus coming was to restore all things. Jesus said to his disciples, ‘With great desire have I desired to eat this passover before I suffer.’ It was at this passover supper that he introduced the new covenant. He takes bread as a representation of his body which was about to be given as a sacrifice. He took a cup and said, “this blood of the new covenant which shed for you. The end result of this new covenant would be the full restoration of God’s original plan of God’s original plan be in force when He Blessed Adam and Eve.

Look Revelation 19:5-9, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Clean white linen is granted his Bride (This is a powerful prophetic image). The first time “wife” is mention in scripture is Genesis 2:25, ‘Adam and his wife were naked and not ashamed.’

Adam broke covenant, by eating the sacrifice from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The moment he ate, he died spiritually. His eyes are now opened to the knowledge of good and evil. The door to shame, fear, death, and the curse is the new reality. They are now separated from God and their purpose.

In Genesis 3:2, is the first time, God makes clothes for them to cover their nakedness. The blood of innocent animals had to be shed to make atonement for their sins. The second time God make clothes for man is revealed in Revelation 19:8

“And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will usher us into the millennium reign of Christ. Just as Eve was a helpmate to Adam, the believers in Christ will aid in the work of the Millennium. Jesus restores the orginial Blessing.

But people so often get stuck in the details of life and miss the BLESSING entirely. They become dependent upon the system of men. Adam and Eve took their eyes off of God’s plan and got stuck in the details of eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Genesis 3:1.

Cain got stuck in the details of the offering of a bloodless sacrifice and ended killing his brother Abel. Ham, one of Noah sons, got stuck in the details and dishonored his father and ended up being cursed to be a servant to his brothers. Moses got stuck in the details of his calling and killed a man. King David got stuck in the details of leadership and committed adultery with another man’s wife. Judas got stuck in the details of the kingdom and betrayed Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silver.

The Blessings of God was created for you. Prosperity is part of the process of exercising dominion over the works of God’s hands. Adam and Eve got stuck in the details and caught up in the death spiral. The good news is, God has restored the blessings of the Garden of Eden. The Blessing was and is designed to supply all your needs by the power of God. The blessing is always present but so often because we don’t believe or embrace the BLESSING of God which was designed to enable us to walk out the plans of God, we stuck in the details of the curse.

The Blessing

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:27-28

The God spoke the word of the blessings over Adam and his wife! He commanded blessings! The actual definition of the word, “blessed” means, “To kneel.” God commanded forces of all creation on earth and in heaven to kneel and work in their favor. Everything within Adam’s environment was working in his favor until he broke covenant with God. The Spirit of God was working on and through Adam to help him to accomplish the plans of God. Adam was supernaturally sustained and all the works of his hands were blessed.

Examples of the Blessing being pronounced

We actually have examples of the blessings being pronounced. God blessed Noah and his sons in Genesis 9:1-7.

Abraham called into the blessing, Genesis 12:1-4.

Melchizedek, the priest of the most high God, pronounces the blessings over Abraham, Genesis 14:18-20.

God pronounces a blessing over Abraham that is backed up by a sworn oath, Genesis 22:15-18.

“And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, and said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because you hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: that blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all nations of the earth shall be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”

God blessed Abraham in all things, Genesis 24:1; verses 32-36. In Genesis 27:28-29,

Isaac pronounces a blessing over Jacob:

“Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.”

God never went back upon his original plans. He had to work around man within the system of things to bring everything back into his perfect plans.

The Blessing is still available

The Blessing is still available for anyone who will press into it.

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins., sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high.” Hebrews 1:1-3:

Where Adam messed up, Jesus came to fulfill. Jesus is the second Adam. God has put all things into his hands. Jesus is the express image of God simply because it was his will was do Father’s will. “Jesus said, I only do those things I see my Father do. I only say those things I hear my Father say.” He also uphold all things by the word of his power.

God is gathering together all things in Christ which are in heaven and on earth, Ephesians 1:11

God is working all things after the counsel of his will through Christ, Ephesians 1:10

We have obtained an inheritance through Christ, Ephesians 1:11 & Colossians 1:12-13. The Blessing of Adam and Eve has been restored through Jesus Christ. It is a gift and the gift of God is life, eternal life; the power of life.

Colossians 1:12-14

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hat translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: in who we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on the tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

God demonstrated what the Blessing was and would do through Abraham and the children of Israel. They got stuck in the details of the law. They were never able to fully satisfy the demands of the law. rather it was a manner of keeping the Sabbath or worshipping idol.

God made it easy for anyone anywhere to enter into the Blessing simply by faith to have access to the rivers of living water.

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:26

“And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29

What is the promise?

God said, to Abraham, “I swear by myself that in blessing I will bless thee!” That’s the promise.

God backs up his word!

1 John 5:9, says, ‘if we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater…”

1 John 5:10 says, “He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself.”

1 John 5:11 says “This is the witness, God hath given to us eternal life and this life is in his Son”

1 John 5:12 says, “He hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Now as far as life is concern, lots of people get caught up in the details. They get stuck in ideas and concepts. For example, some people believe, eternal life is something you get when you die and go to heaven.

They can’t connect the concept that the “life” that is being talked about in scripture is the substance that gives supernatural abilities. It heals, delivers, gives wisdom and knowledge; work miracles and aid in helping us to have faith in God. When God made Adam’s body from the dust of the ground, and breathed life into it; it was life that made Adam a living soul. When God raised Jesus from the dead, it was “life” administered through the Holy Spirit that resurrected Jesus from the dead:

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11 (KJV)

These things work by faith!

Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). I always wanted to be debt free. I got into debt because I believed debt was the only way I afford things. I had car loans, a home mortgage, credit cards, departmental credit cards and personal loans. I was thousands of dollars in debt. I had tried to get free many times but I would always end up going back into debt. I was able to eliminate some of my debt. Things did not change until I became committed to believe in God as my only source for peace and fulfillment. I became committed to getting out of debt.

I prayed about it. I made a plan to get out of debt. My plan would have taken three years just to pay off one credit card. I started my plan and within nine months I paid the remaining balance on my house mortgage of $11,000.00. I paid off my mortgage six years ahead of time. The next year I had a credit card balance of $12,000.00 and I paid that off in about 4 months. The Spirit of the LORD spoke to me and said, “Why are you waiting until the 18th of every month to pay on your credit card bill?” He said, “Why don’t you pay something on it everyday?” I started paying on that credit card bill every single day. I got super serious about paying off my credit card. God started lining up opportunities for me make extra money. A friend needed some help, I helped him, not expecting to receive anything and he gave me $400.00.

His neighbor next door asked me if I could do some work for her? I cut down a bush in less than 5 minutes and she gave me $50.00. I made some additional money of which I honored God with the tithes and offering and paid the reminder on my credit card. A relative found out what I was doing and gave me another $400.00 which I immediately tithed and gave offerings and applied the reminder to the credit card. Within 4 months I paid off my credit card. I was debt free.

While all of this was happening, the next year was even more miraculous with even greater provisions. Now I am in the place where I am able to bless other people!

Conclusion

One last thought about “The Blessing”

Jesus came to restore all things! He said, I make all things new! Matter of fact Ephesians 1:3 reads,

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”

First, all of the spiritual forces of the blessings always existed but we were disconnect from it. But through Jesus’ sacrifice, “life” has been restored. All of the spiritual forces of the blessing are in full operation. Second, this heavenly place always existed from the beginning and it is the garden of Eden. It is a perfect place. The river of life flowed out of Eden to water the garden. The river is the mechanical source of power.

God desires ”The Blessing” to be upon all his children. In Acts 1:3, Jesus describes his desire as a passion, great desired. In Luke 22:15-16, he said,

“And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostle with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: for I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

The hardest battle in life that we face daily is believing that life, eternal life has been restored, that we can have it and benefit from it, now!

Jesus said, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they will might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Summary

The Blessing is intentional. It is designed to produce tangible results. The method of delivery was/is the river of living water!

Don’t get stuck in man’s system. Man’s system will leave busted, broken, and frustrated. His health care, and pension plans are woefully inadequate. God’s system is unlimited.

You have to know your rights and benefits. You have to deliberately know how to access your rights.

Grace & peace!

I Investigated Mexico’s Deadly Coca-Cola Addiction…

This is an excellent video! This is a prime example of how people are easily deceived into worshipping an idol as the source for life. In this case, Coca-Cola is that object of worship.

The truth is we are all guilty of worshipping things other than the God of heaven who gives life through his Son Jesus Christ.

Cain & Abel:The Sacrifice, A lesson in the realm of the knowledge of good and evil

In Genesis 1:26, God said, “let us make man in our image and after our likeness.”

Replacement Theology on a whole different level

God never said, let us make man a god like us. Some people have erroneously taught that we were created in the same class with God to be like God.

Adam, the first man, was created to till the ground (Genesis 2:5) and manage the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15). God never intended for them to know good or evil. God intended for Adam to refashion the earth into the image of the garden of Eden and to enjoy the bounty of his blessing.

The Seventh Day

God created the Seventh Day as a Sabbath. The Seventh Day was designed to be the crowning glory of the works of God’s hands, the completion of creation. In other words, Adam was given ONE creation day, the seventh day, 1000 years, to finish the work of creation on earth.

If Adam had finished the work, Eden, the city of God, would moved to the earth and God would be with man for all eternality. The fruit of the tree of life would have been Adam’s reward. This is going to happen during the millennial reign of Christ. According the Revelation 20, Satan will be bound with a chain and cast into the bottomless pit. According to Revelation 21, after the 1000 year reign of Christ is completed, the city of the New Jerusalem will move to earth and there will be a new temple in the midst of the city. We are told, that God and the Lamb are the temple of it. In Revelation 22, the curse is finally removed and the tree of life is restore.

The knotty problems of Details

God never gave up on his plans. This is the reason he made the Sabbath rest a part of the 10 commandments to the nation of Israel. God is very serious about the Sabbath. The reason why the Sabbath is important, is because through the Sabbath rest people came to depend upon and trust God for his blessings which are vital to growth. The nation of Israel had to give the land a rest period every seventh year. Every 50th year, they had to release their debts. They had to tithe the first fruits of the land. Israel never fully gave the rest. They continued to work on the sabbath. This caused them to be cast out of the land until the land was about to enjoy its full set of sabbath rest.

Sunday is a legal holiday, (holy-day), as far as the government is concern. If a holiday falls on Sunday, it is observed on Monday. Israel’s Sabbath is observed from sun down on Friday to sun down on Saturday, the seventh day. Christian’s Sabbath is observed on the first day of the week, Sunday, the day Jesus was resurrected from the dead. As a matter of employment, workers are given two days rest period. Saturday was seen as a day of rest and Sunday was a day of worship.

This concept of the Sabbath is encoded in our laws and they are called blue laws. The blue laws are dangerous in the sense that God never made a covenant with no other nation beside Israel. The New Testament, is a covenant that is based on an individual personal choice; whosoever wills. It is a covenant based on grace and not the 10 commandments. Christians have been in God’s Sabbath Rest for 2000 years.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meet and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”Matthew 11:28-30

You shall be as gods knowing god and evil

The serpent tempted Eve with this reasoning, ‘if she ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, she will become as gods knowing good and evil.’ Eve saw the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that it was a source, good for food, pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise. She took and eat the fruit the fruit and gave some to her husband. This is the exact reason why they were driven out of the Garden of Eden,

“And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.” Genesis 3:22

You would think it was a good thing that man has become as God. Adam wasn’t created to be a god. He was created to serve, to be a servant and in this role he enjoyed the benefits of partnership with God. This concept is seen in Jesus coming to earth to serve and not to be served (Mark 10:29). You also see it in Revelation 22:3, in regards to man being God’s servants.

“And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.”

As far as earth is concern, partnership between God and man is first mentioned in Genesis 1:26-27 and is revealed in Genesis 2:19. The partnership was broken when Adam eat the fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

“Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way to the tree of life.”

God had to keep Adam from access to the tree of life because its fruit could give Adam the ability to live forever as gods knowing good and evil. God places a flaming sword at the entrance of the garden of Eden, to protect the tree of life. He also place Cherubim’s in the garden of Eden. Cherubim are angels who are associated with worship. The Cherubim temporarily held his until Jesus arrived.

Adam is now in a fallen state. He is in a pace where he can make his own decisions independent of God. In Genesis chapter 4, we see the downward spiral of Adam’s descendants. Cain and Abel is an example of what it means to be a god.

God still demands a sacrifice

God still demands a sacrifice. The system he created demands a sacrifice. The system reward based on obedience.

Cain and Abel brings a sacrifice as did their father Adam when he was in the garden of Eden. God changed the sacrifice from a fruit based offering to the blood of an animal sacrifice.

Cain brings the fruit of his ground as a sacrifice. Abel offers the firstlings of flock as a sacrifice. God accepts Abel’s sacrifice. God rejects Cain’s sacrifice. What’s the difference between the two sacrifices?

Abel’s offering was called a more excellent sacrifice by which he obtained witness that he was righteous. Cain persisted to operate under the old order of sacrifice.

God holds Cain accountable

God asked Cain a question

“And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?’

In other words, God asked Cain, “why are you angry? Why are you depressed?”

God said, “If thou does well, shalt thou not be accepted? The word, “accepted”, means to, ” have excellence”. God is saying, if you do what is required of you, you will be blessed in the work of your hands.

Then God says to Cain,

“And if thou doest not well, sin liveth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”

God said to Cain, ‘If you don’t do what is required of you, Sin is waiting at the door and it desires you but you must master sin.

Being a god demands that you master sin by doing what is required of you. In other words, give God what he requires of you!

What is sin? Sin is trespassing the bounds that has been set down by God. Who is God? He is the One who created the system.

Cain is languishing, Abel is prospering! Cain is talking with Abel of which the Bible doesn’t go into details. Cain rose up against Abel and killed him. God holds Cain accountable for his choices.

Cain chose to address his problem by murdering his brother.

“For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.” 1 John 3:11-12

Adam’s generations ended at the flood. God was grieved that he had made man. He strived with people to do right.

Genesis 6:5-8

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repented me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

The people of Adam’s generation lived 900+ years. Noah and his family were the only ones who escaped the judgment of that period. Men took what they wanted and wickedness was great upon the earth. Every thought and imagination of their heart was only to do evil continually. Man’s whole purpose and desire was to do evil.

One of the consequences of sin in Adam’s generations, man’s life span was cut to about a tenth of its original potential, to 120 years, according to Genesis 6:3. Man’s original life span was 1000 years and with the rewards of the tree of life, its potential was eternal life, everlasting life.

The very first thing Noah does he gets off the ark, Genesis 8:20-22

“And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savor; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

Noah’s sacrifice of obedience, a blood sacrifice!

  1. God was pleased with Noah’s sacrifice
  2. God granted grace regarding men’s wicked imagination in that he promised to never destroy the earth by a flood.
  3. God lifts the curse off the ground by promising consistent harvest seasons. This is major blessing of grace because Noah fore-fathers struggled with the ground to get it to reproduce. According to Genesis 5:28-29, “And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: and he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath curse.”
  4. Noah gives God the required sacrifice! Noah’s name means grace
  5. God blesses Noah and his family, Genesis 9:1

The Benefit of the sacrifice

You need it daily. Your family needs it. Your community needs it. Your city needs it. The country needs it. The earth needs it. The blessing of God is not just in words. It empowers you to carry out the will of God. God’s original vision has not changed. God gave Adam dominion over all the works of his hands. God blessed him and said, be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue have dominion over everything that flies, swim, crawl or creep upon the earth. The system was designed around Adam to work for him not against him.

One of the benefits of the cross of Jesus Christ

Jesus redeemed us from the curse being made a curse for us that the blessing…. Galatians 3:13. Jesus disarms principalities and powers, evil forces. He blotted out the ordinances that were contrary to us nailing them to his cross, Colossians 2:14-15. He opens the way to this into the very holy of holies, by this dispensation of grace, Hebrews 10:12-22

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is still in our midst but also is the message of the cross. Jesus is called the Lamb of God. The book of Revelation, chapter 5, the fullness of the revelation and power is flowing into the earth!

This is a good video explaining how debt is used to produce more debt.

The world is 97 trillion dollars in debt. The Whore of Babylon is a money system. At some point, 10 world leaders are going to dismantle this system.

Revelation 18:11 describes a market based system that will be destroyed instantly.

Revelation 18:23,

“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”

The merchants of this system are the great men of the earth. They used sorceries to DECEIVED the nations.

We are living in the usual time where people can become millionaires by playing a lottery system.

There are social influencers on Youtude who have become millionaires. Entertainers have become billionaires

Sorceries- According to Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, G5331, “pharmakeia,” it means medication, pharmacy, magic”

What sorceries did the great men of the earth use to deceive the nations? MONEY, what it can do for you! What it can give you! Money works like a narcotics. The look of it, the feel of it. People will kill for it.

The love of money is the root to All evil!
