The Psychology of the Lamb of God

In Genesis 3:15, God predicted the defeat of Satan before it happened many years later.

God said to the Serpent, ‘The seed of the woman shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.’

The New Living Translation reads, ‘he shall crush your head and you will strike at his heel.’

The word ‘Bruise’ as used in the text means to overwhelm, to snap and to break.

God’s Methodology

John the Baptist introduced Jesus Christ, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Ever wonder why God uses a lamb as his representative? First thing people think about when they see a lamb is helplessness, dependency, and defenselessness. Nobody chose a lamb that is trying to communicate an image of power.

But God chooses time and time again to confound his enemies by choosing weak things. He used things like lice, frogs, and blood to defeat the Egyptians. He drew the Pharaoh’s army to the Red Sea, while he prepared an escape plan for the Israelites. Israel went over on dry ground. God lifted the restraining wall, allowing the enemy to pursue them. Then drowned Pharaoh’s army in the Red Sea.

Why did he choose the crucifixion?

He lured Satan into his trap. 1 Corinthian 1:7

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:”

God has a glorious, excellent plan that He has chosen to hide. Why?

“Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”

The leaders of this world system, both spiritual and natural, focus on images of power, education, riches, and glory. God looks at the heart.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

But God

“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep of God.” 1 Corinthians  2:10

We have received the Spirit of God that we might know the things that are freely given to us (1 Corinthians 2:12)

These promises would have no frame of reference unless they could be found in the beginning of the Bible. The Blessings of God were freely given to us on the Seventh Day of creation. Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.

God had previously planned a whole millennium to lavish his generosity on us. He told Adam to eat freely. Although Adam sold out to the Serpent, God never walked away from his plans, Revelation 21:6, 22:17

The Trap

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

“BUT God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.” 1 Corinthians 1:27-29

How not to become a victim of the trap

So many of God’s people look to the government for justice and provision. Our congressmen and senators project the image of authority, as if they have the power to determine our future.

You have to remember, Satan is the prince of this world; he is the god of this world. His people think and act like him. Jesus called them the children of the wicked one. The so-called real world will deny poor people food as a political strategy.

1 Corinthians 3:18-19

“Let no man deceive himself, if any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.”

All things are yours

“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.” 1 Corinthians 3:21

Many of God’s people have never fully understood their rights as children of God.

“Who hath believe our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness: and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.” Isaiah 53:1-2

The greatest setup and greatest come back

If the rulers of this world had known they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

If Satan had known the outcome, he would never have led a rebellion against the Son of God.

According to Luke 22:53, it was Satan’s finest hour.

“Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. THEREFORE let no man glory in men. FOR ALL THINGS ARE YOURS. 1 Corinthians 3:18-21

Why did God choose a Lamb to represent Him to redeem the world?

The Seed of the Serpent

Satan has seed. His children are workers and worshippers, well represented in spiritual wickedness in high places. He has highly developed root systems in the earth and in criminal organizations. They are in leadership positions within churches. They are members of congregations. They are in government and industries.

I noticed an uptick on social media attacking Christians for sowing financially into the work of God. Also noticed so called ministers of the gospel taking advantage their church membership to enrich themselves.

The Seed of the Serpent

God said in Genesis 3:15, speaking to the serpent (aka Satan, the Devil, and the great dragon in Revelation 12:9),  ‘I will put enmity between the seed of the woman and your seed. We know the serpent obtained seed through the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden. The serpent gained legal access to Adam’s family. He sowed seeds of deception, convincing Cain to murder Abel.

The apostle John said in 1 John 3:12 that Cain was of the Wicked One and murdered his brother because his works were evil. Satan was able to sow seeds of hate and violence in a short time.

Jesus clarifies the difference between the good seed and the evil seed

In Matthew 13:38, speaking of the harvest, Jesus said, ‘The tares are the children of the Wicked One. Interestingly, Jesus used the word, wicked one to describe Satan’s work. He twists and perverts these people to advance his agenda on earth.

But Jesus said, ‘Let the tares and the wheat grow together, and at the appointed time he will send the angels to gather everything that offends in his kingdom and cast them into the fire.

Satan transforms himself into an angel of light, 2nd Corinthians 11:14

The Apostle Paul said there are false apostles, deceitful workers, who transform themselves into the apostles of Christ. This is not a surprise, for Satan transforms himself into an angel of light.

The apostle Paul said:

“There is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:15

The Anointing shall teach you all things

God has anointed us according to 2 Corinthians 1:21

“But ye have a unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.” 1 John 2:20

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” 1 John 2:27

If you go back to the root of all things, the gift of life and the anointing stem from Genesis 2:7, where the Breath of God transforms clay into a living, breathing soul capable of having a personal relationship with God.

Its Personal

The apostle John (1 John 5:10) said, ‘If we believe the witness of men, the witness of God is greater, which he hath testified of his Son.’

“AND this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. HE THAT HATH THE SON HATH life; AND HE THAT HATH NOT THE SON OF GOD HATH NOT LIFE.”

Many believers have never truly grasped the meaning of life. They are co-dependent on people, particularly on the government. They have never understood it. They are in and out of it.

The virtue, the power that flowed out of Jesus, has been gifted to us. Virtue flowed out of him and healed the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:30.

In Luke 6:19, the multitude followed Jesus, and virtue flowed out of him, healing all.

The same life that was flowing upon Jesus and through him is available to you!

You’ve got to go back to the source of all things,

Jesus speaking to the woman at the well said, ‘If thou knewest the gift of God and Who it is that asks for a drink of water, you could ask of him and he would give you living water.

Jesus responded the woman when she claimed her ancestral benefits:

‘But the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life’, John 4:13-14

Jesus is describing virtue, power, life, an infinite power source that touches every part of your being.

John 7:37-38

Jesus says, ‘Come unto me and drink. He that believes on me, out of his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.’

Revelation 22:1

“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”

Notice, the river is flowing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Pure unadulterated authority. This is the same river that flowed out of Eden to water the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:10). This is the Spirit of Life that brooded over the dark void in the begining, Genesis 1:2. This is the same river that became a fountain in the Garden of Eden and was divided into four rivers, which became the source of blessings from God upon the earth.

How is it that we are NOT making the connection?

Many of the leaders in the church have a political spirit. They have a form of godliness but deny the power.

They have no root, Mark 4:6. Truly, the fruit is in a sound root system. In other words, no root, no fruit.

Reject the word of God in favor of traditions, making the word of God of no effect, Mark 7:7-9 and Mark 7:13
