Mental Crisis

This article is a third-party verification of the power of persistent prayer.

My prayer group prays every week for those afflicted by the fentanyl crisis, and we pray for those who are suicidal.

We ask God to send people into dark places to take the gun out of their hands, to take the rope from around their necks. To expose those who are suicidal.

As a Detroit Police Chaplain, I have comforted and prayed for people who have lost a loved one to suicide. I have seen the grief, sorrow, pain, and heartbreak people experience when they lose someone to suicide.

The Detroit Police Chief, James White, said the department responded to hundreds and hundreds of people suffering from mental health crises. They were able to save 788 people who were in the progress of committing suicide. He said they had 100% success rate in saving people!

The fentanyl crisis is causing just as much devastation in our nation. 109,000 people die every year to fentanyl overdose!

The very act of sowing the seed of prayer will keep someone from death and destruction, sorrow, sickness, and disease. Somebody, somewhere, will be spared the immeasurable devastation of this horrible plague!

Where is your energy being exerted? God created man to till the soil.

Genesis 2:5, says, “… and there was no man to till the ground.”

So God created a man from the dust of the ground, Genesis 2:7.

The problem is that man was separated from his source of inspiration and revelation through disobedience, which developed into rebellion. Man was created in the image of God and in the likeness of God. God could make a man from dirt, a woman from a bone. He formed the animals and birds from the dust of the ground.

The image of God in man was marred, and so the likeness of God was perverted. Man went from a servant to an adversary. The story of Cain and Abel is a perfect example. According to the Apostle John, Cain killed his brother because he belonged to the Evil One, and his works were evil, 1 John 3:12

Adam possessed unlimited potential and time to manifest God’s character and abilities.

The purpose of God’s original blueprint was lost, and the ability was lost through sin.

There is only one platform

There is only one platform from which to build or plant, God’s created order. He chose seed time and harvest as the method of working on earth.

“Be not deceived whosoever a man sow that shall he reap!” Galatians 6:7-10

There was an evil branch added the family

There was an evil branch added to the family of man not because God planned it that way, Adam’s opened the door to the Evil One by chosing to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

When God judged Adam’s sin, it was there when we learned that the Serpent 🐍 gained seed.

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15 (kjv)

The Serpent 🐍 gained SEED through Adam’s disobedience. This is why God had to drive Adam out of the Garden of Eden. Man could have taken the fruit of the tree of life and lived forever in a rebellious state.

However, God planned that the two branches would never co-exist peacefully. There are two spiritual governments, the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness.

The ultimate end of the kingdom of darkness is destruction. The economics, social structures, and governments are heading for a day of utter destruction. See Revelation 18:22-23. In this passage of scripture, you see destruction of the arts, crafts, education, and social structure.

A period of great darkness is coming

There is a coming a period of great darkness, a result of the judgment of the whore of Babylon (the branch of the family) Revelation SEED.

Also, see Exodus 10:21-23. Darkness that can be felt. But God makes a difference between his servants and his enemies!

The world is preparing for this battle. it’s called the Day of the Lord.

The world has been preparing for this battle since Adam fell in the garden of Eden. Satan has the evil branch of the family (the nations) investing enormous energies and resources into building the infrastructure to war against God.

There is an illusion that the nations function independently of one another. But the truth is, each nation is wholly devoted to fulfilling their purpose in advancing the schemes of darkness.

“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.” Revelation 19:19

God restores man’s original purpose

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before hand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

The Harvest is Great

“Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2

“For we are labourers together with God: ye ate God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:9

God’s harvest has been going on since the beginning of time.

Adam was given a part of the vision of God’s harvest.

Noah and his family were given a part of the vision.

Abraham and family were given a part of the vision. Abraham saw the family of God as the stars of heaven and the sand on the seashore, Genesis 15:5

Finally, Jesus has come to give us God’s vision. In Luke 10:2, the Harvest is truly great. This is the great grand harvest that will take us into eternity, Revelation 22:1

In Revelation 22:1, this river flows out of the throne of God!

Eternal Life is simply the gift of God- access to the tree 🌳 of life- being reconnected to the river of life that flowed out of the Garden of Eden, Genesis 2:10.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

God took the river of life (Genesis 2:10) and put it on the inside of you,

John 4:10, the gift of God is living water. John 4:14, a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Rivers of living water, John 7:38-39

This power is eternal, unending, infinite: See Acts 1:4-8

“Wait for the promise… and you shall receive power”

He that hath the Son hath life

“And this is the record, that God hath given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son, he that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:11-12.

People have not connected

People have not connected the ground, seed, and eternal life together. They think that eternal life is something we get when they die and go to heaven.

Eternal life is the infinite power of God working in you now. EPHESIANS 3:19-20

“TO KNOW the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (NKJV)

In Revelation 22:1-5, you can see the big picture. You can see the river of God flowing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb! Infinite eternal power. Enough power to light up the city without a sun. It grows fruit that heals sin.

“… And they shall REIGN forever and ever.” Revelation 22:5

King of Babylon, part 4

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer. Son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” Isaiah 14:12

God told the prophet Isaiah to take up a proverb against the King of Babylon and say, “How hath the oppressor cease! the golden city ceased!” (Isaiah 14:4)

The next verse says,

“The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and scepter of the rulers. He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.” Isaiah 14:5-6

Isaiah 14:6 confirms Revelation 18:3

The King of Babylon (Satan) smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke. He ruled the nations in anger.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. The whore of Babylon (the kingdom of darkness) hath committed fornication with the kings of the earth and the merchants have grew rich through her schemes.

Satan kingdom is described as the golden city, Isaiah 14. It is also described as the whore seated on the beast, the MOTHER of harlots and abominations of the earth.

Everything from drug rings, sex trafficking, pornography… it’s orgins started here. His merchants are called the great men of the earth.

“… thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived (Revelation 18:23)

The amazing thing about this “prophesy” is that the One who beat people and killed people is now being persecuted.

“Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit” (Revelation 20:1-3). They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; that made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?” Isaiah 14:15-17.

“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Revelation 20:10

The whole earth shall sing

“The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth unto singing.” Isaiah 14:7

Nature itself will sing,

“Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.” Isaiah 14:8

Worship is the saving health of the nations. See Psalms 67

When the earth sings its worship to God, it will not be cursing rap music. It won’t be the blues, and rock n roll.

In my neighborhood this past Sunday, one of my neighbors played their music very loudly. It could be heard all over the community. The lyrics were depressing, oppressive. The lyrics were about lost love and opportunities. It was lustful and self-centered focused.

Satan is glorified in such sitting. Satan was originally created to be the worship leader, the anointed cherub of Ezekiel 28:12-16. That was his assignment, the purpose for his creation. When he fell, all of his good qualities were perverted and twisted into selfish, self-centeredness, which is amplified through music.

But notice, even the music will be judged

“And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee…” Revelation 18:22

God is going to return a pure language to the people.

“For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.” Zephaniah 3:9

Then God will rejoice with singing over them

“The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17.

Jesus Christ, made a high priest (Psalms 110:1-7)

“Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.” Hebrews 2:12

The King of Babylon, part 3

Satan lost his place

I shared in previous posts how Adam forfeited his position to Satan as the federal head of mankind. Satan stood in Adam place as a world ruler of mankind. He stood in the office of a priest. He also functioned in the office of a servant. He was given an assignment to fulfill and a limited time to fulfill it!

The Sacifical Lamb

Once Jesus was offered as a sacrifice to cleanse the sin of the world, Satan lost all rights to dominate man against his will.

“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found many more in heaven.” Revelation 12:7-8

Cast Out

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is down, which accused them before God day and night.” Revelation 12:9-10

Jesus Christ, the Second Adam

Jesus is seated on the right of God from which he represents us before God. God has given everyone the right and privilege to become sons of God through faith in him. See John 1:10-13.

Now you can conquer Satan

“And they overcame him (satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.” Revelation 12:11

Use the tools he gave you! The blood of the Lamb. The word of God, and the promises. Your testimony of faith in God and in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ makes the difference!

Satan knows his time is short

According to Revelation 12:12

“Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”

Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5
