Satan is the god of this world, 2 Corinthians 4:4

According to 2 Corinthians 4:4, Satan is the god of this world. He is god of this world because people listen to him.

For that reason, all of us are treated as guilty until proven innocent. The thief has had such an impact upon society and businesses that they have to put extra security measures in place to prevent loss. These security measures are stripping away our freedom.

Businesses are using crime statistics to justify closing stores in the name of safety. Alot of times, its not really a security or safety issue. It is a labor issue and companies are using theft as excuse to bust unions. The thief is driving the economy.

Theft has to become unprofitable before you can stop the thief. The problem is that wicked doers are celebrated and tolerate in our culture.

Proverbs 29:24, He who partners with a thief hate his own soul

According to Zechariah 5:1-4, the judgment of God is loosed against thieves and those who swear falsely. There is a curse that is loosed into their houses until it is completely consumed; the timber and stones.

We really have no control over money because other people can spend it and roll the burden on us to pay for it. That includes city, state and county government!

Thin Blue Line

Detroit is the probably the most dangerous city to serve as a police officer. In my 22 years of service as a police chaplain, the most gut wrenching was going to the hospital after an officer was shot in the line of duty. There are no words to describe the utter terror that follows in those events. Most of all those shootings happened at night.

And yet, they keep lining up for service. I’ve been there when only two scout cars patrol a whole precinct at night. When the force was dealing with budget cuts. When it was a battle between the command staff and those who patrol the streets.

The criminal element, the children of darkness, the wicked ones are advancing on all fronts, even in the church. The battle is spiritual and it is raging. Satan has taken off his mask! The wicked people are honored in society.

Prayer points:

-Pray for a strong blue line 💙 🙏

-Take your eyes off of people, place or things. Focus on the cause, the purpose

-The most effective, most powerful prayer you can pray is, asking God to expose the darkness. That God would out the leaders and workers of darkness.

-Bring exposure; manifest your light in dark places, John 1:5; Ephesians 5:11-13; 2 Corinthians 4:6

Please pray everyday for our Law Enforcement Officers. I served 22 years as a Police Chaplain. I have personally witnessed the darkness they face every single day that they come to work to keep our communities safe.

They literally face more darkness in one day than most of us face in a lifetime. That darkness drains them, demoralizing them in some cases. Day after day, they face the same attacks upon their souls.

A spirit of lawlessness is upon the land. You can recognize it in the children of disobedience, Ephesians 2:2. The prince of the power of air works through his children to challenge, to buck up against constituted authority. Authority Ordained by God, Romans 13:1-4.

Prayer points-

-Pray for God’s grace and mercy to surround them like a shield.

-That evil can not come near them. That God will cause wickedness to be disarmed .

– Declared the wicked ones will be in a constant state of confusion, unable to organize and pull off their wicked schemes.

God will sovereignly guide them out traps, danger. That the enemies darts will miss their targets.

Colossians 1:13; Psalms 91

There is wickedness in their ranks. And there are good honest hard working officers who truly fight hard everyday to rid us the evil. They truly give evil no rest!

Therefore, if you are having a hard time praying… Pray for the office itself- see past personalities- pray for office of law enforcement in the land!
