Evil Seed

I’ve come to understand that there are people whose sole purpose is to work evil. Let’s call them, the Evil Seed.

These people exist and the sooner we realize this, life’s frustrations will lessen. There are people whose sole purpose is to undermine, sabotage, murder, spread bad information, create doubt and unbelief.

Remember the movie “The Bad Seed”

The Bad Seed was a movie made in 1956 about a little girl 👧 who had a sweet innocent disposition. But secretly when she wanted something she murdered people to achieve her purposes. This movie has a profound message to it. Is evil hereditary? Can it be passed down through the blood line?

The Serpent’ Seed🐍

“And the LORD God SAID TO THE SERPENT, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shall thou eat all the days of thy life. AND I WILL PUT ENMITY between thee and the woman, AND BETWEEN THY SEED and HER SEED; it shall bruise thy head, and Thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:14-15 (kjv)

The Serpent obtained seed. The Serpent has the ability to plant his vision into the hearts of people and they will obey him. He placed a thought in the mind of Eve.

The Serpent’s seed was planted into Cain who killed his brother Abel in a fit of rage. According to 1 John 3:12, the apostle John said, Cain was of that Wicked One!

ENMITY

God said, I will put enmity between thy seed and the seed of the woman. The thought here is hostility. As long as the seed of Serpent is on earth, perpetual warfare is the outcome.

Matthew 13:38-43,

This is a parable of the Endtime harvest. Jesus tells us the tares of the field are the children of the Devil. Jesus tells us that the devil sowed these wicked seeds among the wheat. Jesus said let the wheat and the tares grow together and at the appointed time he will send the angels to gather out of his kingdom all things that offend. The tares will be taken and thrown into a fire 🔥

The children of Satan are in every place. In government, business, military, education, in medical, pharmaceutical, in the Church. They will murder you mentally, emotionally, and financially. They will steal your health.

To overcome them

You have to recognize who their daddy is!

Jesus exposed them

“Why do ye not understand my speech? Even because ye cannot hear my words. YE ARE OF YOUR FATHER the DEVIL, and the lusts of your father ye WILL DO. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh A LIE, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:43-44 (kjv)

Then Jesus said,

“He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” John 8:47 (kjv)

Go to the source of the problem

Our battles are not with people but the spirit of darkness that is using them to advance his agenda, Ephesians 6:10-18

Our weapons of warfare are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:3-10

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony, Revelation 12:11

Give us a man to fight our battles

In 1 Samuel 8:1-22, Israel asked for a king to ‘judge them like the nations (verses 19-20), to represent them and fight their battles.’

God told Samuel, Israel rejected me that I should not reign over them (verse 7).

God said to Samuel, tell the people what a king will do to them (verses 10-18). A king will take their sons to perform his business. They will plow his ground, make his instruments of war, and he will take their fields and vineyards. He will take a tenth of your seed and vineyards and give them to his servants. He will take a tenth of your sheep and you will be his servants.

King Solomon

All of this actually happened in the days of Solomon. Solomon had strip the people of their wealth through excessive taxes to fund his extravagant lifestyle. The people rebelled against the the house of David because of it.

Although God was committed to being a partner with Israel, he told Samuel give the people what they want. The people rejected God and asked for a “man” to be their judge and fight their battles.

God has extend to us his “kingdom”, his reign and blessings. But like Israel of Samuel’s day, we can reject God’s kingdom provision and ask for a man to be our source and to fight our battles.

Inexperienced –

One of the problems of receiving from God is, people don’t know how to cooperate with God, how flow with him. So when they get into challenging situations, they fall back on what they are comfortable with. Matthew 6:33, ‘Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness’ or his way of doing things and “all these things shall be added unto you”. What things? Life needs? Food, water, and clothing, yes; but something much more than the necessities of physical life; I’m talking about “life itself” eternal life, the gift of God (John 4:10-14). The life of God that fully satisfies!

Genesis 2:7 The Breath of Life

Adam’s body was formed first from the dust of the ground. It was only after the breath of life was imparted that Adam became a living soul. The breathe of God contained all the necessary information and power to bring Adam into a state to be made in the image and likeness of God

Partnership

Every theme in the Bible can be traced back to Genesis chapters 1-3. One of the themes that is firmly established in Genesis chapter 1 is the principle of partnership.

When God created man, He vision statement was, “LET US make man…” God works out partnership.

When God created the animals from the dust of the field, he brought them to Adam. Adam assigned names to the animals. God works through of partnership.

When God saw Adam working alone; God said, it’s not good for man to be alone, I will make him a helper. Because God works through partnership, he gave Adam a partner; a wife to help him.

God works out of partnership through partnership. Adam and Eve were created on equal terms. Each of them excel in their purpose

Partnership didn’t get its start in a university. It is revealed to us in Genesis 1:26, Let us make man in OUR image after our likeness. So God created man…

Who was doing the creating?

John 1:1-3

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3

The Word became man

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 (kjv)

God is with man, demonstrating what it means to worship God, what it means to master the circumstances of life. He came to redeem back man back to himself, to his original purpose!

Romans 8:31, If God be for us, who can be against us,

Dominion Restored

Secrets from the Garden Of Eden, God’s Blueprint for Life

I have been blogging about this book for about 6 months. My basic premise is, you can trace every theme in the Bible to the first three chapters of Genesis. One of those themes is the conferment of dominion. Every human being has been infused with dominion since they are created in the image and likeness of God.

In Genesis 1:26, God shares his vision to impart dominion over the earth to Adam and Eve.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image and likeness: and let them have DOMINION OVER the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and OVER EVERY creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26 (KJV)

In Genesis 1:27-28, God implements his vision.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. And BLESSED them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:27-28 (KJV)

God gave man dominion over all the works of his hands. Adam was created to steward creation, to subdue it, to fashion it into a replica of the Garden of Eden on earth. See Deuteronomy 11:10-12 & 21 (days of heaven on earth), Matthew 6:10. God never gets away from his initial plans, although we fail in so many ways.

Third Party

Have you ever had to deal with a third party when trying to accomplish a task? My water heater went down. So we I decided to go to Home Depot to buy a water heater and have them install it. Home Depot and Lowes said they don’t install water heaters anymore that they contracted that service out to a third party. When I got in contact with the designated third party, they tried to get me to buy their water heater and installed it for a very expensive price. The third party contractors said, I might have to pay a higher price if my home wasn’t t up to code.

I contacted an independent plumber and avoid all that stuff, “the politics”. When Adam broke covenant with God, he got a third party, the Serpent, involved in his responsibility to exercise dominion over creation. Matter of fact, in the temptation of Christ in the wilderness; Satan said, the earth had been given to him, and he could give it whomsoever he wills, See Luke 4:6 (KJV)

So you have a third party helping you to make bad decisions, to give away your God given inheritance of dominion.

What is Dominion?

According to “The Bible with Strong’s” Dominion, # H7287 “radaw”, it means to tread down, to crumble, prevail against, reign, bear, make to; rule, ruler.

Dominion means basically the right to influence the outcome. Man was never created to rule other people. God created man to manage the resources of the earth.

It was only after sin, that humans became subject to one another, Genesis 3:16 (KJV),

“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall RULE over thee.”

We get to see the consequences of human beings dominating one another in Genesis 6:1-8, where the sons of God began to multiply wives unto themselves. They took as many wives as they wanted; the earth was filled with violence.

The ground is cursed for his sake

God cursed the ground. The ground wouldn’t produce. People had to struggle with the ground to get it to produce, Genesis 3:17-19 & Genesis 5:29 (KJV)

The Curse is removed in Genesis 8:20-22

“And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

The Restoration of Dominion

Although God never took away dominion from Adam and his seed, they lost the true meaning of exercising dominion over creation because they had Satan as an overlord.

God came earth to redeem us to our original purpose. Dominion has been restored in some of the following ways:

–Power through relationship, John 1:12,

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believed on his name.”

–Power over the enemy, Luke 10:19-20,

“Behold, I give unto you POWER to tread on serpents and scorpions, and OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Colossians 1:12, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, Who hath DELIVERED US FROM THE POWER OF DARKNESS, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son.”

–Power conferred, Acts 1:8

“But ye shall RECEIVE POWER, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

What we see in Jesus’ ministry:

“How God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38 (KJV)

-We see that the original relationship has been restored, God is working with man again

-We have obtained an inheritance, the original conferment of dominion has been restored. Although Adam possess dominion over creation, yet after the fall, he had no vision or power to fulfill his original mission or power to resist Satan.

-We have received power to be witnesses to this new lifestyle

-We have received power to become children of God

We were created to be winners! 1 John 5:4,(KJV) “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”
