Satan’ Seat

Jesus makes reference to Satan’s throne in Revelation 2:13. Jesus, speaking to the church of Pergamos, said ‘I know your works and where you live, even where Satan’s seat is…’

His activity

God asked Satan twice, “Where are you coming from?” (See Job 1:7 & 2:2). Since we know God is all-knowing and everywhere at the same time, he has to know what Satan is doing at all times. So God is not asking for his sake but for our sake.

God wants us to know our enemy. We know Satan gained seed in the fall of Adam. God set perpetual warfare between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent, meaning that God was not going to allow Satan to make the human race into slaves. There is a godly seed and an evil seed.

By Genesis 6, Satan was able to influence the whole earth to commit acts of violence. Every thought and imagination of the heart was only to do evil.

BUT God found one man, Noah and his family.

Satan has to work through people to exert influence over creation

God invested dominion over all creation in man. Dominion is exclusive to the human race on Earth.

I lived in Detroit during the seventies when Young Boys Incorporated, Black Killers (BK), and the Errol Flynns were coming to power. I lived amid those violent years of the drug wars. I saw the effects of crack cocaine on the citizens of Detroit. Satan could not have as much influence unless people yielded their life force to him.

Insight

It is incredible how Satan uses people! The Catholic Church and the Mafia originated from the same land. Both continue to have a worldwide impact. One preaches the blood sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the other sacrifices the blood of untold millions of people all over the Earth.

Should you, as a child of God, worry?

The prophecy of Haggai 2:6 says that God will shake all things, the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land, and He will shake all nations.

This prophesy is confirmed in Hebrews 12:26-27.

“And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”

“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: for our god is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28-29

Revelation 6:12-17, a great earthquake

Every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

The stars of heaven shall fall on the earth. The kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the generals of the military, the mighty men, every slave, every free man hid in dens, and in the rocks of the mountains. They said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

Breaking from dependency on man’s system

I think we are in the last moments of freedom. Forced medical insurance, the Real ID Act, the high cost of living, and debt—37 trillion dollars of debt hangs over the heads of every single American, and the world has 315 trillion dollars of debt.

Corruption in leadership has always been the catalyze to push creation into the next dark hole.

I believe the only true time of freedom in Israel was when God fought their battles

Althought there were struggles because of human nature, this was probably the only peroid in the history of Israel where choice and independence trully ruled.

“In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” Judges 21:25 (KJV)

It was during the administration of Samuel a shift in leadership would plague the nation for years to come. The elders of the people came to Samuel and asked for a king to judge us, to fight our battles, and to go before us. They said, we want to be like the other nations.

The elders of the people asked Samuel for a king because his sons, whom he appointed as judges over Israel, were corrupt. The Bible says,

“And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took brides, and perverted judgment.” 1 Samuel 8:3

I heard a speech given by Aldop Hitler in a documentary. He said, “I am alone, the judge of the German people.” That is too much power in the hands of a single person or even a group of people.

God said,

“But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.” 1  Samuel 8:6-7

God told Samuel to tell the people what a king would do to them. A king would strip them of their inheritance. This is precisely what happened during the reign of Solomon. After Solomon’s death, the people came unto his son and said,

“Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.” 1 King 12:4 (KJV)

King Solomon took the people’s inheritance through excessive taxes to finance his extravagant lifestyle. The people became servants of the king.

The Bigger picture

There is a big difference between those who belong to God and those who belong to the world.

“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him; to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

A lot of believers are living day to day depending on the government of man for justice, provision and leadership.

They neglect their relationship with God, their heavenly Father, who still fights battles, multiplies bread, and heals broken bodies.

The victory comes on a day-to-day basis. Jesus taught us to pray,  “Give us this day our daily bread.”

‘We have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of his dear son.’

‘It is God’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom, that is, God’s government.’

‘We have received a kingdom that can not be moved. Let us receive grace to serve God with reverence and godly fear.’
