I served as a police chaplain for 22 years. A police officer killed in the line of duty has to be one of the most gut-wrenching, emotionally draining events.
This young husband, father, and brother was senselessly murdered over a stolen property. A network of people stealing cars. A suspect in a car with darkened windows fire at the police, killing one of them.
You have asked yourself who is going to pay for this murder? Some innocent people will not get the benefit of the doubt because when a police officer dies by such a senseless murder everyone becomes guilty.
