Background
The battlefield reveals the work of Satan’s governmental rule of the earth
(Text taken from Isaiah 14:4-24)
Isaiah paints a prophetic picture of God’s judgment against the King of Babylon. The king of Babylon in this text of scripture is a prophetic symbol of Satan’s governmental rule of the earth.
Yesterday, on this blogsite, we talked about the Whore of Babylon which is a prophetic symbol of the kingdom of darkness or the governmental rule of darkness over the nations of the world. Revelation, chapters 17 & 18 deals with the revelation of judgment of the Whore of Babylon.
The Queen of Heaven is another prophetic image describing the worship elements of the kingdom of darkness. See Jeremiah 7:16-20; 44:17-25; 1 Kings 11:5; Revelation 18:7
Watch the battlefields, particularly in the middleast, as it relates to Israel because we get to see Satan’s works more so than in other parts of the world. Why is this?
According to Revelation 12:13, “And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.”
Satan rages against the nation of Israel because God used the nation to birth the Messiah. The One who is destined to rule the world.
I Corinthians 2:8 says, if the princes of this world had known the consequences of their decisions to crucify Jesus, they would not have done it.
But for this moment, Satan is the god of this world’s system. In the Bible, Satan is plainly defined as the prince of this world. The world’s system is coming into judgment.
According to Ephesians 2:2, Satan is the prince of the power of the air, the guiding influence working in and through the children of darkness.
According to Genesis 3:15 and Matthew 13:38, Satan has seed or children who are completely passionately engaged in carrying out his agenda.
According to Revelation 17:1-2 &18:3, the kings, rulers, and merchants of the earth are dutiful workers. The Bible says ‘Satan made the people of the nations drunk off of the wine of the wrath of their fornication with the whore of Babylon.’
Satan inspires these religious, national, and corporate leaders to make decisions that bring hardships, wars, famines, sicknesses, diseases, and economic calamities on the people they lead.
“For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” Revelation 18:3 (kjv)
Isaiah 14:4-23,
In Isaiah prophesy, there are lots of signs of God’s work as compared to Satan’s work. Satan is a created being and in no way measures up to God. But because man was given complete dominion over the earth, God has to work through people to bring Satan down.
“How art fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, sin of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” Isaiah 14:12
One amazing aspect of God’s dealing with Satan is that Satan is constantly being cast down and cast out.
For example, Isaiah 14:15 prophesy that Lucifer would be cast down to hell, to the sides of the pit. In Revelation 12:9,10, & 13. Revelation 20:1-3, an angel with a great chain bound and cast him into a bottomless pit to begin a 1000-year prison sentence.
The Battlefield reveals Satan’s works
Isaiah 14:6 reveals how Satan, working through his people, in his position as the prince of this world, beat the people in wrath with continuous strokes. He bombs their homes. He rules the nations in anger.
Isaiah 14:16-17, Satan made the earth tremble and nations to shake in fear. He made the world as a wilderness, he destroyed cities, and he opened not his prisons.
But God,
According to Isaiah 14:5, God breaks the staff of the wicked and the scepter of the rulers. The word “staff” is defined as one’s administration. The word “scepter” is defined as “an emblem of authority and sovereignty.”
According to Isaiah 14:7, God causes the whole earth to enter into rest and quietness. He causes the whole earth to break forth into singing. The earth is coming into a period where it will recognize its creator.
Imagine for a moment, the whole earth in joyful praise to God. No more gangster rap, or hate music, or lyrics full of lust. No more roits or wars. People living in peace with their neighbors. No more racial strife. No more grievances. No more religious strife.
According to Haggai 2:5-9 & Revelation 18:17, in one hour, great riches will come to nothing. The Babylonian system of commerce is going to be judged. God commands his people to come out of her lest they become partakers of her plagues. There is going to be a worldwide economic collapse not seen since the beginning of times.
According to Revelation 18:21, with violence, the great city of Babylon will be thrown down.
According to Revelation Isaiah 2:19, James 5:1-6, Revelation 6:15 & 18:9-11,18-19. Kings of the earth, great men, rich, chief captains, mighty men, bond man, and every free man will hide in holes in the ground from the glory of the LORD shall be revealed in that day. There will be much weeping and wailing during this period.

Genesis 3:15
“And I will enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
Golgotha Hill
“Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: where they crucified him, on either side one, and Jesus was in the midst.” John 19:16-18
Satan’s greatest work was that he killed the Son of God. He humiliated him, stripped of clothes, beat and mocked him, and had him crucified to a wooden stake.
We could see Satan’s work, feel it, taste it, hear the agony, the hammer driving the nails into flesh. But what we could not see is the terrible price he paid in separation from God.
“Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and thr pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hands.” Isaiah 53:10.
The Battle that took place out of sight
Jesus was led to the place of the skull, the place of death into the heart of Satan’s workshop.
-Jesus tasted death for everyone, Hebrews 2:9
“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:14-15 (KJV)
The keys of hell and death
“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Revelation 1:18
Once the sins of mankind were paid in full; Satan had nothing left in his arsenal. The prince of this world had been judged.
Next Stop
According to Revelation 20:1-3
The pit! An angel with a great chain in hand will bound and cast him into a black hole so deep it does have an end to it! He will spend 1000 years in a bottomless pit, spinning non-stop in a downward spiral.
Satan last stop
Accorfing to Revelation 20:10, Satan will be cast into the lake 🔥 fire and brimstone where he will be tormented day and night forever and ever!
Meanwhile,
God never cast the devil down to earth without giving us the means to defeat him. He gave us the sacrifice, the blood of the Lamb of God! He gave us SEED and dominion. He has given us life, eternal life, the anointing of God to do battle!

The present battlefield in the middleast is a historic master piece of his workings.
Jesus identified Satan as the prince of this world, John 8:31-32; John 14:30; John 15:11
Satan’s greatest work was the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, Luke 22:53
Satan is the god of this world only in the sense that he is functioning in the place of Adam’s spiritual authority, and people listen and obey him. He has a legal right to operate on this earth.
Satan’s right to function in the place of Adam’s spiritual authority is about to come to an end. He is facing a 1000-year prison sentence in the bottomless pit, Revelation 20:1-3
According to Revelation 12:1-17, the dragon, that old serpent called the Devil and Satan that deceives the world, was cast out of heaven down to earth with his angels (verse 9). He knows his time is short.
Why does Satan hate Israel?
According to Revelation 12:13, Satan tries to destroy the nation of Israel because they gave birth to Jesus the Messiah, the Lord of lords, and King of kings,
And because Jesus’ government is coming on the earth to finish Adam’s original assignment.
According to Revelation 5:1-5, JESUS was the only one in human history who was able to prevail
(No man in heaven, on earth, or under the earth was able to prevail)

God has already given us victory over Satan through his perfect sacrifice, the Lamb of God.
They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony… Revelation 12:12.
I give you power over all the power of the enemy… Luke 10:19
All power in heaven and earth has been given to me, go… Matthew 28:18
But why do we see this hatred and bitterness?
According to 2nd Corinthians 4:4, Satan is the god of this world’s system
The apostle Paul said that if the good news of the gospel is hidden, it is because the god of this world blinds the minds of them who do not believe.
God gave men absolute total dominion over the earth, See Genesis 1:28, down to every creeping thing that crawls on the earth.
Satan HAS TO WORK through a human vessel to accomplish his agenda. Satan has to work through people.
The harvest field has become the Battlefield
The Queen of Babylon also known as the The Queen of Heaven, is none other than the kingdom of darkness, the government of darkness Revelation 17:5-6, she gets intoxicated on blood sacrifices, especially little babies,
See Exodus 1:15-22, the king of Egypt gives the order to kill all newborn male babies born to Hebrew women.
Matthew 2:16-18, Herod King of Judea gives the order to kill all the children of Bethlehem two years and under.
Part of Satan’s government is:
The Queen of Heaven (Revelation 18:4-8), the kings of the earth and the merchants, who get rich from her debauchery, Revelation 18:3
