The Bushnell Church building converted into a psychedelic church. This church had a strong presence in the community for many years.

It is heartbreaking to see so many churches in the community closing. Most cases like Bushnell Church are being changed into other purposes. They call it “repurposed.”

The pictures below are just some of the churches that are closing in my community!

The sad thing about this situation is that as one generation dies off, the Church, as we knew it, will no longer exist. The Body of Christ in the United States that once sent 80% of missionaries to the world will become a distant memory.

God and Satan in warfare?

I read an article where a comment was made about God and the devil being in battle on earth.

The answer is absolutely NO! Satan is no match with God in battle. That’s like comparing the sun in brittance to a 100-watt light bulb.

Satan is fighting those who do not know their rights and privileges in Jesus Christ!

For example, Revelation 12:11 says they overcame Satan by the blood of Jesus Christ and the Word of our testimony

In Luke 10:19, Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

According to Revelation 20:2-3, one angel will come down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He will lay hold on the one called the dragon, the old serpent the Devil and Satan. He is going to bind Satan, casting him into a bottomless pit and shutting him up where he will spend 1000 years. His final destination is the eternal lake of fire!

In the meantime, the battle is on earth. We are not without provision, God gave man dominion on earth over all its resources. GOD has given authority according to John 1:12, power Acts 1:8.

The battle is in knowing and applying the word of God against the adversaries. Satan knows he has a short time left before he begins a 1000-year prison sentence. He is angry, and he comes to make war with the saints according to Revelation 12:12-17!

The victory is knowing the truth and, through faith, vigorously applies it!

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4
