In what ways is the Name of the LORD a strong tower?

Proverbs 18:10

“The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”

I realize something about John 14, in verse 10, the Heavenly Father gave Jesus the words to speak and he performed the works through Jesus.

John 14:10

“Believe thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me…”

The Heavenly Father told Jesus what words to say and confirmed that through signs, wonders, and miracles. The same concept is repeated in John 5:19 & 8:28-29.

So in what ways is the Name of the LORD is a strong tower?

John 16:23

Jesus said, “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.”

Whatsoever you need! His name, throght in his name is your string toaer.

In Act 3, the cripple man was made whole and healed through faith in the name of Jesus!

In Luke 10:17, seventy of Jesus’ disciples returned from a missions trip, saying even the devils are subject to us through your name.

Lots of people have asked and not received  because they gave up too soon.

Sometimes, it comes down to persistence. Luke, the widow woman of Luke 18:1-8, was persistent in appealing to a wicked judge until they received justice. Jesus called her persistent faith. He said though God bears long with them, yet he will avenge them speedily. 

Other times, people do not receive it because they have no relationship with God and are simply doing what they see somebody else do.

Acts 19:13-16, Seven Sons Sceva, a chief priest, tried to use the name of Jesus to cast out evil spirits. The evil spirit said, ‘Jesus, I know, and Paul, I know, but who are you?’

Many are defeated because they have no substantive relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Developing faith is a lifestyle. There will be many failures, but keep pressing because God is faithful and has called us to Himself through Jesus Christ our Lord!

I am wondering

If you commanded Russia to get off of your soil in the Name of Jesus,

If enough of you start speaking to Russia in the Name of the Lord to get off your land

If enough of you start speaking to principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places to get off of your land

Because

God determines national borders and boundaries, Acts 17:26

All power in heaven and earth has been delegated to Jesus,

One sow and another waters BUT God gives the increase. You do your part; God does his part. Creation was always meant to be a partnership.

We get to taste of the heavenly gift now, we are partakers of the Holy Spirit now. We get to taste of good word of God and the powers of the world to come now, see Hebrews 6:4-5

He has given us power over all the power of the enemy, Luke 10:18-19

He gave us dominion over the earth, not to one person but to every human being born on earth.

“Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; in that very day his plans perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever, we executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to prisoners.”  Psalms 146:3-7

“He does not delight in the strength of the horse; he takes no pleasure in the legs of a man, the LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy.” Psalms 147:9-11

One can chaste a thousand and two ten thousand

Speak to the enemy in the Name of the Lord. GET OUT, say it a thousand times, say it in unison. Why does this work?

Because we are made in the image and likeness of God. God created reality with words, Hebrews 11:3

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, Proverbs 18:21

God’s original blueprint is being fulfilled

“And the ten horns which thou sawest upon  the beast these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fullfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.” Revelation 17:16-17

Global System

A global governmental system is being dismantled because God has out it in their hearts to fulfill his will and to agree to give their kingdom unto the beast.

Notice that the Stone (which the builders rejected has become the head, the Cornerstone) smashes into pieces the iron, clay, silver, and gold.

God put it in their hearts to fulfill his will.

There will eventually be a transition from man’s system of government to God’s kingdom rule. We are in the End Game.

Who could have ever imagined that a person could be elected president of the United States who is a convicted felon and the only president twice impeached while in office?
